Sam (the mrs) used to work for a place owned my Michell's and Butler. She left that job, which she had been in for 6 years a couple of days before christmas. Her reason for leaving was that there had been a change in managment and the new land lord is an absolute cock!

When we said that we had just spent £500 in the pub she replied "You have not!" I asked her if she wanted to see my recipt and she stomped off! I think the supra club turning up at the same time was the problem, between both clubs we probably had about a 3rd of the spaces in the car park when we were all there. They took up more space than us, not sure if they had any food?

I paid the bill for our table which was £40 with the drinks. This was Nick, his bro, dcarey and me so add another £20 for us two.

Laguna now fixed, almost new motor from the braker. :) Cant be arsed to work on the z now, taking my son to the park instead. The main little job was my alternator belt is a bit loose (squeels at cold start). So i will be the one squeeling tomorrow!

Starter motor on the mrs's laguna has stopped working, AGAIN! so much for doing little jobs on the z today before the meet tomorrow! Oh well, still coming

There arn't any updated raid controller drivers :( Hence back to xp I took an image of the vista install tho so will just ghost it back and install them when nvidia pull thier finger out.

Installed x64 vista ultimate last night, ghosted machine back to xp this morning! Vista wont see my raid array grr. Raid controller is installed, driver is there, signed by ms, released by nvidia. Still wont bloody see it!

If i was starting over i might have gone for a nice na manual, maybe a slicktop as they handle better and are rather rare. There have been 100's of these posts before so use the search option on the site. Everyone has thier own opinion from thier own experiences. TT's are more powerful and can reach about 170mph top end with the restrictions removed. Na's around the 145 - 150 mark. Na's are much cheaper to keep on the road and are still about 220bhp when running right. I have a tt and only been to 150+ once and probably wont bother again! If you are looking to buy from the uk, Slick pete has a nice red manual na slick top for sale for a very very good price.

My key is stuck in the ignition! :headvswal The key wont do that extra turn to the left to release it. The button presses in but doesnt feel like its poping out far enough. My car is now in the car park with the key in the ignition! Lucky my alarm fob is in my pocket and the car is locked. It has been getting stuck intermittantly over the last week or so. I think the cold weather may have something to do with it. Any ideas?
