you still need a bulb to put light down the optic cable, the fibre just carrys the light is all use leds mate with a very low voltage to get them dull enough

Just reversed the supra into a handrail at work, doh. only damage is to the tailgate, missed the spolier and bumper due to someone else doing the same thing before me and snapping the first rail clean in half :smash: So the end of the top rail was all I hit I'll bash it out later! Only annoying thing is that i changed the boot rubber yesterday as it was leaking, now the tailgate is bent so it will probably leak again, and in exactly the same place as the rubber was missing :rant: teach me to reverse without looking ! there are 2 sets of railings and i thought the first one was the 2nd one when I breifly checked my mirror. doh

cool, do they fold in after you turn the ignition off? mine have the normal switch but its dead with the ignition off
