ahh so if i just disconnect the electrics to them. Will that make them shut all the time giving wastegate mechanical opening presure of about 7psi?

short the obd2 plug for error and see if you have any nb you have to disconnect the battery for some time to clear the error code if you have one

I dont believe in Ghosts. BUT... The mrs says she was at home the other day on her own and could hear a piano playing downstairs clear as day. We dont have a piano and nor do our neighbours etc. The tv wasnt on, in fact it wasnt even there as I just sold it! She said it was loud, and she stood at the top of the stairs listening to it for more than a few seconds but as soon as she took a step down it stopped. Now I didnt believe her, I dont believe in ghosts and out house isnt even old etc. But about 10min ago I was stood in the front room talking to her and a candle on the window ledge just fell on its side? Its one of those short, big thick ikea ones. I checked it and there is no way it could have fallen over by itself, its centre of gravity is at the base, it doesnt fall over if you push it etc. the window wasnt open or anything, no vibrations from anything. Now I dont beleve in ghost but that was cool! I saw it go out the corner of my eye!

If its boosting at 7psi with the pro spec 2 turned off then your actuators are fine and no leaks etc. The reason its boosting to 7psi is because thats when the boost presure overcomes the springs on the actuators and they open. When you turn on the ebc its solenoid is opening and causing the leak. If its not controlable then you have a faulty ebc or controller I'd say. Are you still running with the stock solerniods disconected? Are the electric plugs still connected to them or have the boost pipes and electrics been disconnected from them?

I have been told to remove the stock solenoids by noble motorsport today so then you only have one solenoid, not two sets fighting each other? This makes sense as then you would have a shut circuit when the ebc is off and the wastegates would open with mechanical pressure only at 7 psi. Then the ebc comes on and its solenoid bleeds the pressure causing the gates to open later. Does anyone have any info on what is need to be done to disconnect the stock solenoids, ie do you have the leave the electrics connected from the ecu or can these be removed as well, ie the solenoids be removed totally instead of just bypassed?

thought so I dont think its the jumping / doing it that takes the guts its the mental planning and wanting to push yourself that I admire

I had to change all the injector connectors as they are rubbish once disturbed got rid of plenium water feeds, egr, aiv, air con and hicas while mine was out
