Yeah i got pulled for mine and told it was too small didn't say it couldnt be on the bottom of the bumper facing up tho Mot says has to be legable from a certain distance, something like 25m i think and within all the size and spacing rules etc I wonder what the legally would be of having it on the sunstip in the correct size and spacing etc, like the stick on ones you used to get.

Greddy profec B -spec 2 is definatly the way to go. Mine works well. I'd disconnect the stock solerniods tho or it will be fighting the ecu and you will never set it up right.

Noble motorsports Not getting any more cooling and only real way they rekon would be a large fmic which I dont want! Greddy side mounts would be better than the ebay ones I have but £££. I had a long discussion about the heat causing any damage etc and they say its perfectly safe to run but running more boost wouldnt really up the hp any more due to the heat as the air is not dense enough. Might be better on the road with a proper air flow through them. A/F slightly rich but thats normal. Did 3 runs to the limit at 16.7psi listening for dett and watching the a/f All clear, so we turned it down to 16 and did a power run at that. 369hp, lots of torque tho which is what makes the real difference. And it drives proper sweet :)

nope, its the intake temps that is causing the power loss at the top end torque is up at 400lbft so its fine until the top 70c when they should be more like 40c - 50c

as far as I know, they look stock but they seem to be coping fine still running slightly rich at 16psi with no signs of dett etc so its not for lack of fuel, its the intake temps 70c at high rpm They werent able to get the fan pointed directly at both ic's at the same time, so it might make more on the road.

might not make 450 on 17 tho I ran 16 today and only managed 370 your side mounts might be better tho, thats what stopping me going any further.

well im going to watch the clio club in tamworth, might take my supra down but i dont really care what power thats running. I still thing Noble is the best bet for zeds and they are Midlands

Well as I said Nobles know what they are doing when it comes to our engine config. We need at least 10 to get the club day dates will be decided so that the maxiumum number of people can attend so if you are interested post up the dates you will be availible in april / may. (Saturday mornings) When we get to 10 ill start collecting the money and get it booked for the best date. Ed A quick pic from the car park there today while I was waiting:

doesnt mean you cant come! I'm also going on one in tamworth on the 2nd of feb, not taking my car tho, going with a mate. All the rolling road days I have seen so far have been right down south so I thought its about time the midlands lads get some!

I asked about club days while I was getting my Z setup again today and thought I would gauge interest and get a date selected in the spring time. Power runs are normally £56 + vat For 10 or more cars its £40 incl vat (if i remember right, can check) If we get 15 + its £35 They normally operate club days on Saturday mornings and the rolling road bay door will be open for viewing etc. The great thing about Noble motorsport is that they have loads of experience with 3lr v6 turbo engines as that is what the Noble cars run. They have tuned a 300zx to 570hp previously with success. Payment will need to be made to them two weeks before the day in one lump. So it will need to go through me or Midlands organiser if they want to get involved. So who would be interested and what date (Saturday) would you prefer in the months of April / May. Oh and thier rollers don't lie I have been told. Can we make this sticky? :hyper:

Well the ebay side mounts gained me 12hp ! Not a great increase and my charge temps are still too high for more power So if you want big power get a front mount, if you want an upgrade that doesnt spoil the looks get the side mounts He did say that it was difficult to get the fan directly onto them, so there maybe more of a gain on the road.
