Very upseting,i have lost three mates to bikes,brought it all back,and a notorious road from Daventry to Banbury has claimed 12 in 3 years! What can anyone say to the thread Big Roy put up,words just dont cover it, :mad: :( :cry:

Lost count how many times things like this have happend,one time was just coming off roundabout onto duel carriageway near Northampton about 7.30pm,about 12 lads were in the central reservation walking to town for a piss up by looks,as i approached they all jump over barrier,stood in outside lane waving and shouting me to GIVE IT SOME RAZZIN,making big circular motions with there arms,so of course i obliged ,good laugh,but have to say my wife gets very embarrased when she's with me,she cant understand it,i dont think theres a week goes by without something like this happening :D Tony

Well well well,dear o dear o dear,what a crock o shite that was,after watching England for the last 38 years(i watched the 66 final on tv as it happend with the whole village it seemd in our living room)i can honestly say i was not fooking suprised at what happend,we were all watching it and the kids were very excited,and Donna who normaly cant give a shit about it all was up for it,but they could not understand why i was not jumping up and down with them when we scored,i just sat there thinking,i will celebrate IF we win the game,i said to my son i have watched too many England games and have felt let down too many times to get excited anymore,lets see what happens,then low and behold we comit fookin suicide AGAIN,it beggars belief, we have not won sod all for oh so long it a scandal,were was the attacking football in the second half,so many back passes,so much sitting back,the French must of been loving it playing most of the time in our half,they never gave up,WE did,they were throwing it at us at it paid off,i hate to admit it but they deserved to win,WE DID NOT,again,let down,my kids were very very upset,2 mins to go and its thrown away,my anger and frustration with the whole fookin England,England,England thing is near the end,if we dont pull our socks up and start playing WORLD class football,run till your lungs burst,start earning ya money,then i for one will fook it out of my head for ever,we are a JOKE,have been for many many years,sick of it.I feel so sorry for the supporters/nation that get wound up and bowled along with the hype ,only to go to work the next day totaly pissed off and ashamed at our performance.Lets see how far we can get in this competition,we aint going to win it,but go down fighting for **** sake,give us something to be proud of,or again its ENGLAND R.I.P :mad: :mad: :mad: Tony

Had same probs,then got a spanner,cut it in half,that enabled me to get it on and have no/less restriction to undo the sod,mind you was easy compard to putting new one on nearside,what a PITA,dropped it 3 times :( Tony

Could be a fuel problem,mine would det at 10.5(Thor RR meet)so had them sort out the fueling probs,fitted SAFC II,FSE Powerboost valve/fuel regulator etc,maybe your fuel regulator is on way out,but me thinks fueling problem is top of the list on yours. Tony

Could well be,but for me it was the big one,lower ball joint nearside,can not just replace ball joint on them,had to change complete arm too,Mr F (MJP)sorted me new one,but its very exspensive,but what a difference,no more violent shaking :cool: Tony ps you should be able to tell if its a warped disc,you can feel it through the pedal, pulsating kind of feel.

Nice one mate, i have removed the blanket off every Z i've had,just keeps heat in,you will crap yourself when it rains,your in slowmoving traffic and all you can see ahead is loads of steam rising from bonnet,allways wonderd at what other motorist must be thinking as they look over to see it :D Tony

Would it not be possible to use a piece of wood as a wedge between the aircon adjuster and the pulley,if ya get me drift ;) or am i talking shite!

As i have found out,but as you say Stu,great stopping power,its just one of those things with this type of pad,maybe later i will try some Axis,or Ferrodo pads,see if things differ. Tony ps,thing is they do not squeel when braking moderate/hard,just after they have done heavy work and you use light pressure.

All correct,thats why it was adverised in the Granada club mag,pre 1987 V6 motors would knacker there valves on unleaded fuel. Tony

Could not sleep,on nights this week,to bloody hot,so thought i would fit a few things that were pending,first off DTA Motorsport Brake brace bracket,took less rhan ten mins,to be honest i thought this would prob not make that much difference,but after the first roundabout coming up very quickly :) it WORKED,so much more resistance ,well happy.Then fitted a 3 level hood prop,after trying it in various places(firstly taping it all down to check clearance etc)settled on this position,had to make up a small bracket to give more strength to the lower placement bracket that i had fabricated to,once i got into it things went ok,(polished all the brackets too!)it WORKS!,very very well,three positions of height,and bonnet shuts a treat,no more rattling old bonnet stay :dance: Its made by Lokar Motorsport in US,got it from Summitracing.com.$60 plus shipping,took 3 days UPS Expedite.Ithink it looks the dogs :cool: What you think peeps! Well not personaly,but some years back when it first came out under another name the Granada club did a test on it using different models,some ran better,some no difference,some ran worse,i had a good look at it at Japfest and it seems exactly the same product as way back then,it died a death then seems to have surfaced again,i allways thought if it was that good all the motor manufacturers would fit it,personaly i dont think its up to much.
