Yes bit of a classic! good for some fun,a few people i know had them done in old clubs i was in,allso same done to the Granada 2.9 and the old 2.8,not so sure on the 175mph,i think power was rated at 260bhp up from 150bhp,and being a 12valve pushrod motor would struggle to get them speeds,but a 2.9 24v Cosworth Granada will with Two tubs on it,i think Fitz at Top Boss got 180mph+ out of his Sierra 24v,the way forward though with the 12V 2.9 was a blueprinted rebuild with capacity raised to 3.7ltr at 300bhp with no tubs,theres a guy at Santa Pod some times that runs a twin tub Sierra with Nos,gets into the tens :shock: Would make a nice project for someone though,and to go with Nos on it, :) Tony

Been to see them,only around the corner from me,they said NO,the Z doors are to heavy,this was before i saw the scissor doors that Mac's on about at Santa Pod,the guys at http://www.knightsbridgeperformance.com have improved on the original DECAH design,easier to fit and loads stronger with a more powerfull ram.Was the price £800 all in or per side cant remember. My thoughts too,but shipping is $800,and half that if by overland by ship,will take about 8 weeks,will be winter near then :( ,sometimes i wish i was in Oz or the US,so much more stuff for the Z :rolleyes:

Ok mate,just wonderd if the vac line to the gauge may of been restricted somewhere,what does boost controller say pressure wise compard to the gauge,can you hear any hissing type noise when you on boost,remember once having same and the small tube from rear left hand side balance bar had a split in it but could not see it as it was underside,. Tony

I'm up for it,i think 300ZX should get involved in this one,(infact we should get invloved more than we do to promote the club period!)surley we can muster 20 Zs from here,or is that being too optimistic :rolleyes: ,great place for a meet with plenty of action etc,and the cameras will be there :) Tony
