WOW 300ZX Racer!!
Its allso a 2+2,First season they ran a SWB,but becouse of the nature of the tracks(handling)and speeds needed they had a LWB shipped over from Nissan, they then found it to be way better all round, then went on to great success.During this years "Stillen Weekend"at his headquarters, it was rolled out for photo shoots and ran for a few minutes, all Z marques made were allso present upto 350Zs, Tony

Option Motorsport gone under
Bloody hell Mac,there all shutting or what, strange thing this, was going through a load of "Favourites"and was suprised how many have gone, from parts specialists to vehicle sellers/importers,do you think the bubble has burst,or a case of some just in it to make a shed load in a short time then fook off(considering the price of things they charge for,not suprised!) I hear Nisstek have closed too!(not that i include them in the above statement of course) Tony

Is that all?
I see,yes this normal in most cases fitting aftermarket pullys, some suppliers can allso supply the belts for specific cars with underdrive sets, was it UK comp.Ryan should be able to sort you maybe as i know he can get drive belts. Tony :)
-
Is that all?
Yes mate thats it,hardly any movement available, leave lose, cut of old belt, put on new one by sliping/prising over pully(small one first)then use flat screwdriver or simlar to get on bigger pully, then push PS back what amount you can, then tighten up. Tony :)

JAE Billing V Peterborough??????
Agree. Plus it was £10 per person parked outside,(Kids over 11 pay adult prices, rip off,rip off)so cost me £30 :( resulting in far less people coming for a look, was no atmosphere, very quiet, bit staid actualy, went for a walk round, boring. As for Billing not being big enough, pants to that,if it was not doubled up with other motor shows like the VW camper gang then loads of room, every year Billing hold the Land Rover worldwide clubs meet/show,makes JAE Billing look like a pub meet,so to say its not big enough was/is *****cks IMHO. Trax 2005 will be way way better than JAE EoE 2005 Tony

How many people went to JAE ?
Was there sunday,Zless, took along my son and his mate, got wet, what Zs i saw were great.Prefer Billing. Tony

Awesome photos!!
Nice pics:cool: .As for whether or not to go with mesh,i thought about this when fitting the front, but as i was after as much airflow as possible i decided to leave it off, depending on size of mesh holes you could lose up to 50% air flow, and being obssesed with keeping it cool, and ripping out the aircon rad and compressor etc the temp was very very stable, even at very high speeds down private runways :D ,all depends on how your going to use your Z i suppose. Octane booster
Hi Dave, using Octane for your trackday will not increase power much, maybe 5 to 10 bhp,and then its got to be spot on in relation to the fuel/octane ratio,if not you actualy lose bhp, this is very common, but its offset if you are running higher boost on the day.But what it will do is give you protection against det if say you developed a problem, say like the ecu goes ape and decides to run to lean(has been known to happen)or say you have a plug playing up,and you will believe me run hot,on the limit for water and oil temp after 3 laps,so to me that would be the most important areas, firstly day before track day do oil/filter change, then add water wetter to water system, easy on the brakes, after 10 mins of too hard use they will fry, first couple of laps build up speed gradualy, last two laps start to ease down(cooling down). You may know all this, dont mean to tell you how to crack eggs like but better safe than sorry. Have fun  Tony :)

Query?
The e-01 is limiting the rpm,i had it set up this way,its actualy around 6,000rpm,as i saw no need to go over this, one it protects engine of course from being razzed, two it will save embarrassment of fookin the motor on a missed gear change at WOT,(this has been done by others on here),three, its fast enough and by 6000rpm you have long since gone over making anymore bhp from motor. :) Looks nice in your latest pics, nice to know its being looked after as i did. Tony ps,will be at JAE ;)

Help!!!!! Gearbox??
The auto box on my Scorpio has done 136,000 :) Ford eventualy got it right with the A4LD,same box as in the Explorer ,but back to the problem with Daves,as some may know had problems with a Z of mine, box finaly went, but prior to total failure it performed like Daves, thing is there are i think a total of 8 Solenoids,3 are accesable from out side the box casing, but its best to drop the box and have them all checked out, mine was found to have 2 sloenoids knackerd, due to crap in oil, bands burnt out, resulting in no drive above second gear.
