Sorry to hear this mate,prob done a while back,sodin ****ers.One trick,if all else fails,get a small blow torch,like ones with the small lighter gas refil(Ronson etc)heat up padlock,use service spray in intervals when doing it,it will eventualy melt the stuff and burn it out,Tony ;)

So,looking at the parts diagram which end have you done,thing is your syptoms are exactly the same as i had,the movement in the arm allthough slight was highlighted more becouse of the larger discs/calipers,we got a crow bar between ball joing and it lifted by 1/4 inch maybe less,realy had to lever it with a lot of force to see it,nothing else was wrong under there and after i changed the arm(not replace bush's)it was perfect. One thing as a last resort,have your front wheels weighted while there still on the car,remember having a wobble simlar again,on a RS Turbo,this time it was cured by having wheels weighted while still atached to hubs,it worked,you may have to phone around a bit to find a tyre garage with this kit though. Been to Butlins ,Skeggy,nice indoor pool complex,never seen so many chutes and bloody high,still beats Brighton,now there is a shit hole.

Could be Vijay,but would put my money on it being the front lower trailing arm with the big bush one end,had same problems myself,changed these and ok(on investigation was only the near side knackerd,so only got that one fitted,PIA to do,Mr F supplied the part) Believe Jaffa had same prob while back,told him same but not sure how things turned out.
