  4. Looking good mate, just a thought tho seen as this mother is going to be chucking out some huge bhp, will you be going with a 4" exhaust bore as your going to need it to shift all that air,as you prob know the less pressure the better. Tony
  5. I was in centre of Newport Isle of Wight on wednesday at 12pm, near a roundabout that was near stationary with loads of traffic, was heading out to Ryde just saw you come past in a two tone blue and silver Z,no chance to grab your attention plus was in a Vauxhall. The Z looked great especially with the sun being out. Tony

  8. To right it was,as for not much rain, should of seen it at around 4.30 when it woke me up again for about the 4th time, weather on tv says we got it again later and tonight, cant say we dont need it,my garden starting to look like the Grand Canyon, and getting fed up with waterin me plants daily.
  9. If you go to say the Skyline,Mitsi,Niissan,Honda, etc etc performance car forums you can soon get a list up of problems owners have had, thats life,if i were to pay 10k say for a Skyline i would not buy it thinking i wont get a problem, sooner or later i prob will have to pay out for something, hopefully not bank breaking amounts,if you were to buy a Ferrari same scenario, just look on their forums,a Z is a high performance super car, expect to have a problem, then when it happens you wont be too dissapointed, for reliability out of 100 i would give the Z a rating of 75,having owned 6 now i think that would be a fair figure. So be realistic in your approach to buying something thats 16 or more years old, with prob many owners and prob not stock,i would class the owner of a Z more of a enthusiast keeping these cars on the road, rather than a daily driver with no worries on maintanance. Tony :)
  10. Just done it through PayPal :) Tony

  23. Well after taking it off(real bitch)it was found to be ok,but the Live feed from it to the battery was corroded+rust,as when i undone the threaded stud it sheard off,so had it all rebuilt at a cost of £127,did great job,got it back on(bigger bitch)and all ok now  Fitted clear side repeaters, new scuttle trim(thanks to Luke)and sprayed the rear side reflectors mat black, just a few subtle changes but makes a difference, still loads of bits to go on too. After not feeling upto Thoresby me and Donna decided to go to a local Steam Tractor Fair/Rally and Classic car show, while parked took a few pics(not bad for an old gal, looks nice. :D ;) Tony
