  4. I bought this as a 1/12 RC for my son about 4 years back off ebay, took a while to built it ,was quality kit, actualy came as 4 wheel drive.we paid £100 and when we had built and played with it we sold it a year later to a Z collector in the US for $350,wish we had kept it now was great fun. Tony

  9. Front bumper is nice and trick, not seen one like that before, suppose in genral car ok ,just needs sorting a bit in areas, wonder if at 150mph it will take of with that rear wing on
  10. OOPS ,beat me to it. :)
  11. All it is is a small area cut out of the bottom area of the boss that sits over a small lug thats on the Hicas boss plate, thats why when fitting its important not to move the lug,as if you do and fit the boss in relation to the lug and its moved you will find that the hicas is out when you drive!(the circular plastic top plate thats there when you take the wheel off covers the actual Hicas steering relay electrics,by the way,all this can be removed, wires blanked off, except for the horn wire, if fitting non hicas boss)Hope this helps,Tony :)
  12. Looks like there going to show it,thought they would, viewing figures will rocket for this episode :) BBC chiefs had been deliberating for months whether to show the 288mph dragster crash that left the presenter close to death, The Sun reported. However, co-host Jeremy Clarkson, 46, told the newspaper: "Half the world wants to see the crash so I'm sure we will show it. "We're looking into whether we've enough footage of good quality. I imagine we'll be using it in the first show." Clarkson said Hammond, who suffered brain damage and amnesia after the September crash, was happy for the footage to be broadcast. "Richard has no idea what happened to him so he will be as keen as everyone else to see it." Hammond, 37, a father of two, will join Clarkson and fellow host James May in the studio on 24 January to film footage for the show's BBC2 return the following Sunday. Clarkson said that despite Hammond's crash, the next series would feature 35 stunts.

  18. Agreed,i said many months ago there was something happening here with 300zx.co.uk.I have known Ivan for a long time, and he has been in my opinion a fantastic ambassador for this club, and certainly gone out of his way many times, and that applies to others that have now stepped down or left. Jason, you say for the "Good of the Club" my reply to that is not printable. Tony
  19. Strange that your inj are brown as stock(if they are)as my SWB TT i just had has got new Purple ones, mabye becouse the engine might be a series 2,had this thing with inj before,me thinks Nissan just put any old cap colour on sometimes, would not suprise me :D
  20. Ok,lets start with the history when i bought it,may help in understanding things as its now on its third owner since me, The guy i originaly bought it from(Ian) put this engine in after his mate had wrecked the back end in shunt on his own Z,not long after getting work done to engine. The idea was to have an engine that would be reliable but with a bit more grunt,so was fitted with JE Pistons, rebore, crank edged/balanced.Ian put this engine in his Z(Rodders)(of course i had to take some of this on faith but there was no reason or gain for him to say otherwise)at same time he had the Tubbys done(you should have the reciept for that)and new HKS dump valves. The Z it came out of was in his garage with his original engine on floor that he was selling,so after i took it for a run out, checked over what i could deal was done(suffice to say it went like stink at 10psi(bleed valves at the time)and i could hear the pistons knock when cold,so was happy in what he had said and what i had seen, considering how well this Z has performed,on and off the track,3 owners since me,i think at the spec it left me, it was near bomb proof(ok oil pump went but wear and tear is normal on such items)never ever got hot(aircon removed)very very good figures at Thor(you should have print outs)and plenty of razzin since,ok there may of been as said some lost accurate info concerning work to crank but that happens. While its out stick some 555s in Rodders,it will be a mother when set up again(and maybe some bigger intercoolers.Anyways hope info helps Tony
