  1. JFYI http://www.twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/forums/technical/view/988535/Cure-for-StickingNon-functional-HKS-BOVs.html
  2. Cheers Mate :o, am on weekends at the moment mate :(, would do otherwise:hyper:
  3. There are some problems with HKS BOvs, if you search TTNet FAQs IIRC there is a fix for them?
  4. http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/raframecatalog.php?catalog=28&partnum=2698&a=UK28-2698 http://www.twinturbo.net/net/viewmsg.aspx?forum=technical&msg_id=949734
  5. I think it is pretty easy to get to without using the M25, but thanks for the heads up James :)
  6. Get a long screwdriver and see if you can get an exact location of the rattle by listening for it?
  7. What else did you have replaced with the timing belt?
  8. http://www.7dayshop.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=101898&r=A Maybe something for father's day!!!!
  9. To me the NA engine is what the 300ZX was designed for, a fantastic engine with a car designed around it, in this car nothing surprises you and it is balanced! In the TT rules were meant for breaking :)
  10. I am unsure asto what you are saying there as it is a little ambiguous? Z32 the limit for your injectors is 14 psi anything higher and you are running the gauntlet, even at that level the injectors are overworking! The limit for your turbos is 15 psi above that level and they start to become inefficient in charge temp and their lifespan is severly reduced! I have never hear of anyone's turbo seals going from fitting a higher flowing exhaust, only from removing their cats! You seem to be drawing a comparison with the 200sx and 300zx, really you would be better off wiping the slate clean and starting afresh :)
  11. I doubt if I will be going there in the vert may stick the old banger on the dyno for a laugh!
  12. There was a big thread on here years ago, I think the conclusion was they were virtually the same.
  13. You are right, that is why they use race fuel when dynoing their car, they can run higher boost and get more bhp!
  14. What about afterwards going to virginia water for a beer/bite to eat, open to any other pubs/suggestions?
  15. Thanks guys, touch wood should be a good day :)
  16. Would avoid tesco shite at all costs Shell V-power is the way to go, by the way it is summer that high octane fuel is more desirable!
  17. Can you please reply to my pms about the surrey rolling road day? I have pm'd you twice about this, and it is something you said you definately wanted to do?
  18. Have to agree it is looking fairly promising :) 23 in potential and since we are going to be finished about 1.30-2.00pm it would be rude if we did not have a sherbert/something to eat? 19. I thought the precats were just on series II cars on one side!
  20. So is that the great piston age/ psi boost ratio relationship only whispered by the great HKS oracles in the foothills of the Himalayas :D
  21. It can be the injectors on the edge of their limits but I don't think the pistons are much cop either!
  22. The pistons are renowned for failing on the piston lands and going to about 14-15psi is putting the engine on the boundaries!
  23. LOL ok you are telling me what time you are turning up at :)
