  1. I know bore wash happens, but always thought it caused low compression due to ring/bore glazing and not anything to do blue smoke on startup, doing a google for it brings virtually nil results?
  2. That's an unusual one, can you point us in the direction of where you got it from?
  3. Have a look at my sig :D
  4. If the smell of petrol is coming from the engine bay it is the petrol pipework. Blue smoke on startup are the pcv valves, particularly the front hoses and or the valve stem seals.
  5. Couple of good points smithy, one other little thing, the majority of the calipers on 300s need professionally refurbing as they usually are sticking, sometimes when people get this done they don't bother upgrading their brakes!
  6. It can't the exhaust from one powers the intake pressure on the other, mind you 140k ain't bad :)
  7. Welcome and hope to see you at the surrey rolling road :) ?
  8. So it should circa 500 at the RW with better spool up than stock tubs:nana2:
  9. Shimming helps, breaking in the pads correctly helps, but how you stop the car makes a difference, if you are hard on the brakes there is less squealing than stopping slowly.
  10. DS2500 nothing else touchs them in comparison, rears not available! Larger pad size is not an issue unless it is lengthwise, as the standard pad is too thick for the larger disc anyway and will overhang!
  11. I am welling up meself, bloody el stu, nice to see it get very nice bhp figures, did you get the sheet for the dyno list?
  12. Well if you guys want a hand writing the new one let me know?
  13. I thought he was looking for the constitution :D
  14. They are also balanced out in another way, each turbo feeds the cylinders on the opposite bank, so if one side is not runnning correctly it reduces the chance on a V engine of running out of balance! On the Oz forum they did thorough testing on the plenum, and found the cylinders that were feed the most air were No.6 backwards, which may contribute to these cylinders going pop more regularly due to running lean,
  15. Can be the tailgate, usually it is rust under the lid, or a bad seal?
  16. You're not meant to spray it in your eyes, point it at the engine bay :D
  17. YEAH, did you think we were saying it to be nice? :D
  18. Maybe we could start a game swapshop :)
  19. Give me a bit of info on bad company?
  20. Have had a go on COD5 and wasn't really impressed, after some suggestions on what to get next?
  21. Not with a large pair of water pump pliers!
  22. Thanks, hopefully cured now!
