  1. Follow the TT.net guide to doing it yourself and it will all make sense, just make sure you have adjusted the tensioner correctly!
  2. I think most of the guys using this will have aftermarket engine management, if he can still use these then fair play to him :)
  3. Top Work bring on Ten Of the Best :)
  4. Have got to admit that is a thing of beauty :D
  5. Cheers Jason, It's a fuel pmp ecu/controller we need, sorry should be more detailed :) I think it would be easier to get a member nearby with a spare half hour and a car and let him swap the bits just to see if they cure it :)
  6. Poor old NAD needs someone to lend him their car in Nottingham, so he can swap the fuel pump ecu and normal ecu and see if these are at fault in his car, any helpful members out there :)
  7. Thanks very much, you are better off ringing me as there are a lot of things to talk about regarding an engine rebuild :)
  8. LOL, just looked on the bloody phone and it hasn't stored them for some reason  The traffic warden was definately camera shy, and I made sure I got my fifty quid back in photos :D
  9. Really you should decide what your budget is,what you want to do with the engine performance wise, how much you are willing to spend then decide from there!
  10. Ring the "customer care " of the firm I have just ordered the laptop from and complain about the delivery schedule, the lady on the other end of the indian call centre starts adopting an attitude with me, so I ask for her boss, she refuses to give it to me and a disagreement ensues, I then cancel my order! So I end up going for a drive, park the car up and because I am in such a bad mood forget to put a ticket on the car, remember, come back and a fookin warden is sticking a ticket on the car. He is taking photos of the car/ signs/ street, so I thought fook that, and I start taking pictures on my mobile of him doing this. He starts objecting and says he is writing this down in his notebook as it's an invasion of his privacy., I tell him it's a public street and I chase him Benny Hill style down the road taking photos :D
  11. Tried to pm you dave but your inbox is full:)

  14. Are you talking about our conversation or have you found another good offer?
  15. Was thinking about the £500 mark :o
  16. I am fairly sure my one is beyond feasible repair, so am on the lookout for a newie, any advice, pointers or freebies gratefully received :D
  17. It is a Nissan part but one of the breakers on here can sort one out for you, and yes get some new hose and redo the boost gauge hose as this will affect your idle as well as the fpr hose, do it asap as incorrect fuelling can damage your engine!
  18. Yes they do, any side mount will be fine, but some FMIC's flow from the left to right on one turbo and vice versa. These ones muck up the system and can give you problems!
  19. Happy Birthday you big Tart :D
  20. Pop over if you want Alex and I will have a look?
  21. Could be an induction leak as well!
  22. The beauty with turbos we sell Mark are that they bridge the gap between an upgrade when people can afford it or a stock replacement. With these turbos the stock injectors run out of steam at 12 psi, but even at that low psi they are twice as good as the stock turbos as they maintain there boost levels past 6000rpm and have stock lag. When and if people want to upgrade they can, as they can hold 21 psi :) and after examining revised figures can produce 420-430 rwhp. The V8 conversions you talk about whilst admirable exciting prospects are not as easy and cost efficient as you make out. Also whilst all big V8's are different, you are also going to increase your petrol bill, because you cannot turn off the power, with modern turbos installed you find improved fuel consumption. With the turbo upgrade, the only thing that would be nice to have is forged pistons (which I even recommend on a stock rebuild), but I am not going to wave a big stick at customers and tell them to rip a perfectly good engine apart to put in forged pistons.
  23. The hoses to the FPR should not be blocked, send a picture of that as well so we can have a look?
  24. The benefit with our service is that we suply and fit them if anything goes wrong, we sort it :)
