It is probably an air lock, you have to raise the front of the car warm the engine up with the rad cap off and fill with coolant when necessary :)

Bearing problems are not common on the 300zx, a low oil pressure reading is usually a sign of a faulty oil pressure sender. The only point I would replace the bearings is when there is a profound knocking on the bottom end!

Wouldn't recommend not buying a nissan part as it is a crucial bit of kit, about 20-25ish from Nissan.

Sounds like the BOV's could be contributing to this, try to refit them, but really as I said before get it on a Boost leak tester/conzult.

Hi Robodonkey aka Greg, Guys he is gonna get £1500 no matter what and he literally is doing everyone a favour by selling it on here, I personally think rules are for the guidance of wise men. Greg said to me do whatever needs doing to the car and had no expense spared when servicing it with The Zen Garage. The car is as straight as they come nice and clean and Greg is a stand up sort of guy, Greg if you can send me a few pictures and more details as I have a few people interested in it?

Lee you have to give your car a good service, it is the basics, oil/plugs/air filter boost leak check/timing/fuel pressure check/conzult.

Could well be up for this give me a couple of weeks to sort things out :D

I think he has changed/checked that already and JFYI it is on the left side of the engine, everything is taken as if you are sitting in the car. The only thing left to change is the ecu NAD?

I am unfamiliar with the engine monitoring system as I use the Conzult system but it looks like one of your O2 sensors is Duff. Jeff is right it is general servicing that is the first port of call. That is a boost solenoid of sorts, it stores boost pressure in tanks in the inner wing to assist in clutch booster operation, this would also cause erratic idle. Get one from a breaker on the forum, doubt if it would cost more than a tenner and easy to fit. Lastly get your zed waxoyled if you live next to the sea :D
