  1. Coolio Paul@SWZ. PM me your location and I'm sure we can sort it. (So glad I joined this club  )
  2. That's fantastic Paul. I've PMd you.
  3. Oh yeah, I can take it out fine. It just has a really bad connection, so I want to replace it. Would like to order one from Nissan. Don't know what to ask for.
  4. Theres a fuse box on the drivers side bulkhead, nothing to do with the main fusebox. On the very left hand side, there is a huge removable fuse that has a loop of blue wire coming out and going back in. The loose connection means that I have no ignition, no dash lights, no power to the starter. Everything else works fine lights, heater, interior lights etc. If I wiggle the fuse and acheive connection, it all powers up and starts just fine. Any clues? should I post a piccie?
  5. Hi Chaps. Having a problem with a bad connection from what my friend informs me is the main engine fuse. Forgive my ignorance, it's the big sucker with a blue wire loop coming out of it. Can any body tell me what I need to ask for? and any guidance as to where to get one. Always appreciate the input. Look after 'em
  6. Hi Guys, could do with some help here. I need a tailgate for my '89 Jap import TT. I will only be using the glass (the tint needs to be bronze) and trim (the trim is an important factor in this). Vandals destroyed mine on New Years Eve and it's been with Autoglass ever since the 2nd January. I was first told mid February for fitting which was then extended until the end of March. Popped in today to check on my Z and to get an update. The manager e-mailed HO and we're waiting for a reply. While I was there, he suggested that maybe the owners club could come up with the goods quicker than the Nissan factory itself. Autoglass would arrange the payment and the pickup. Bear in mind if responding, UK and JAP specs are not the same (unless someone has done differently) and to ask the question. anyone out there who can help? Consider yourself asked. I miss my Zed. :(
  7. You know you're going to buy it. Just do it and find out for yourself. Welcome aboard.
  8. Put me on the list for a 300ZX pin please.
  9. Mine was exactly the same. The previous owner must have worn a sovereign ring on every finger of his right hand. Anyway, I wasn't happy with it at all. No problemo. Started a new thread in the "items wanted" section of the site, I had a reply in a day and finished up buying an excellent condition replacement from a fellow member, at a very reasonable price.
  10. Good for you WYB277. Gonna hook up with me and Snoopy before Chrimbo?
  11. Excellent! Off on my hols for 2 weeks on Wednesday. Will PM you when I get back.
  12. Yeah mate. Good to see ya! Be mindful o'them cameras WYB277. Maybe see you again out and about. Three of us locals on this thread alone. Maybe we should hook up. Whaddaya say Snoopy?
  13. Hey Znut, really sympathise mate. Get some comfort from knowing that he'll never own a Zed. Ask me about when I urgently needed a battery when you've got more time. On second thoughts, don't. Talk about, 'Is it on the trolley?' Halfords are corporate bits man, just corporate bits. I know we all have to deal with it some time. Lowering your expectations is the key. They don't have much trouble finding the bar codes do they?
  14. Mine has known 10/40 Semi since rolling off the line fifteen years ago. Any idea how much was spent on R and D for this car? I think I'll stick with their recommendations thanks, all I need to do is make sure of a regular transfusion every 3000 miles. Liquid Viagra don't work for cars.
  15. Met up on the embankment. I took off from Marsh Mills sliproad. You didn't follow my lead, yet passed me at about 90 two hundred yards from a speed camera !!!!!! You got balls man.
  16. Got 19's on mine bud. I love 'em.
  17. The guys got over 14,000 feedbacks. Well worth a shot I'd say. Do it man.
  18. There 'yar ya see? Thanks Legrath. Knew I'd done the right thing.
  19. Interesting. Read a poll on here re Platinum V Iridium. Followed the poll majority vote and fitted Iridium. From the getgo my ride idled poorly. I lived with that, given that I believed it performed better. Two months along my Z starts to run very poorly, (see previous thread from myself) asked advice online and was advised to slip back the old Platinum's. Decided not to slip them back in, decided to get a set of brand spanker's. Good Ol' NGK Platinums. My ride once again purring nicely, and roaring playfully when required. So, in closing, my point is,............................., try both, as clearly different Z's have a character all their own and will let you know what they like.
  20. You only need to put a price to something when it's for sale. Mine isn't. I do, and will continue to, drive my ride seven days a week in sun, rain, snow and ice. It's all about preparation and aftercare for all of the above.
  21. I got a grey one from the states. Very Cool.
  22. I'd want to know why it's been standing unused for so long. I'm in Plymouth too by the way
