well the 300zx as we know and love was first available in 1989, was it not?.. maybe he means 80's technology... top gear starts sunday doesnt it?

well - i took the metal gause thing off (only the one side, at the engine end - left the the other side on) and i can honestly say it feels smoother and more responive...

How the hell do you do it?? just cant seem to get to the metal bracket thing that holds the connecter in!! :slap: Any hints?!

excellent cheers - think - ill take thje maf out and remove mesh and give it a clean.... are there any 'symptons' of the MAF failing? thanks Ed

Hi All, Forgot to ask this when i replaced my stock airfilter with the Apexi.. The metal 'mesh' that on the MAF - was sort of all torn away on the one side..do you think it might need replacing? - the unit - not the mesh! Thanks oh - any ideas on prices for a new MAF? Ta

I had the coolant flushed filled at zedworld 3 months ago, so i dont think i need to flush it..just wanted to know just in case it may need topping up..think ill call them and see what they use ... thanks

I want to top up my coolant but im not sure what coolant I should use - and what about if what i top it up with is different to whats already in it? Is it ok to mix? Thanks :hyper:

Hi all.. Quick question, my driver side door seems to be on slight slope, there even a ridge in the bracket which the door shuts onto that its made for itself.. is there something i can 'tighten' or would i need to take the door off and r-hinge it... am i making sense....sorry, im tired! :o

i got exact same thing mate - im going to zedworld soon, going to see if i can get my sparks replaced and a general tune up, think that wil solve it.

didnt seem to..think ill take it to Zedworld for them to have a look at for me, going there soon for a few things anyway...thanks for the info.. :)

oh got yeah, well it seems to be performing excelently so i think its fine..thanks.. i'll be turning up the boost over the next few months though..going to invest in a few mods!

i will cheers.. its quite difficult to read the coolant level from the 'dipstick' thats in it..but i have a coolant flush and replace last month so it should be ok

Just got home from a 2mile journey and i wasnt thrapeing it all..(its peeing it down here) switched the engine off and noticed a lot of steam coming from the bonnet..now im presuming and hopeing that this is because 1. the engine gets hot !! and 2. it is really really peeing it down and my breath was turning to steam too! dont get me wrong it wasnt smoke...just steam..i think its just condensation.. :p

Well ive just fitted an Apexi and hear a lot more now..standard boost .7 isnt it?

ah ok thanks chaps... I'll stick with the stock ones then - i dont mind the goosehonk , ive grown fond of it! do they need chaning if i start modding though - chip , boost controller etc?
