I filled up with V-Power for the first time last night - 98p litre here in Brum!!!! (Same as optimax was) anyway - defo increase in power/response....really good i rekon.

i was pulling really really hard (oo er) ..good job the car was in park cus i was pulling the car towards me!!!! Maybe i had pulled enough and i just needed to lift the pipe off? hmm .. i'll try it again! Ta..

how the hell do you get 'em off!!!!!!!!!! :shock: sorry.... hi all!! Went to clean the throttle bodies yesterday..come to take the stock pipes off and jeez they were not moving anywhere!!!! There welded on the throttle housing!!! Tried to get a small screwdriver under there and start prizing them off but looked like the rubber may of started to split if i did that..anyone got any tips!??! Ta

yeah someone just mentioned that at work..oh dear.. tis strange that i cant remember it falling off..think i'll have to give them a call.. cheers.

Hi All, Well just been to my car first time since 8am when i got in work today and noticed my front reg. plate has fallen off..didnt notice it come off, i must of been half asleep.. anyway..i cant think of a way to get home without going past any forward facing cameras..just wondering what the implications are with the police if i get spotted. spose i'll have to go straight to halfords to sort a new one tonight..

wasnt really thinking about selling them, was going to buy some more and keep them..just wondering what will suit the car..

Hi All!! Now when i first bought my Zed, i was horrified at the shagpile mats..but over the months i grew to love them and can see how they suit the car....now im changing my mind again!! Think i might buy some new ones..maybe they will modernise the car somewhat..!!!! Ed

hi all, Just wondered if anyone can tell me what the difference in performance between the 350z and a standard 300zx TT, has anyone have or driven both? I know the video on Top Gear and all that - but was that a Modded 300zx against a standard 350? Just wondering..maybe in a few years i might want to get a 350.. Ed

Hi all, Cleaning a few connectors etc tonight and the Water Temp sensor (i think thats what it is..left of the ECU Connector with yellow plug?) anyway while the engine was running, i 'twiddled' it, and it sounded like a fan kicked in, when i stopped the fan stopped..the main fan (under the shroud) was already spinning, but it sounded like another one kicked in..so im thinking maybe the connector seen better days and needs replacing..im not sure , ive never heard this other fan kick in before.. any ideas? thanks Ed

Yeah the water temp guage just stays in the middle, doesnt really move. I know the amb temp is just the outside temp, but obviously the hotter the engine bay is getting the hotter temp that will display. It was just an observation really. I didnt have the aircon on - i had the heater on full blast!! (on econ mode)

Hi again chaps - questions questions tonight! Just been for a pootle - roof off, perfect! Anyway pulled up at some lights...long straight road noone about and i dont do this very often - took overdrive off and put my foot to the floor when they went green, sped off, great..looked in my mirror and there was 2 clouds of smoke from my exhausts..not too bad, but i noticed them on looking back..just wondered if this should happen? thanks Ed

Hi All, Was stuck on the M6 today, not moving at all...so hot outside too..was looking at the Amb temp gauge on the Air Con panel, it was 37..38 39 - 45, i thought sh*t..but it wil be ok by this time i had my heating on High at 40deg (roof was off!!) then looked down again, and its was at 60! Pulled over just incase on to the hard shoulder, got the bonnet up and gave 10mins..it had dropped to about 44 and the traffic was moving a bit more, so all was fine. My oil and coolant is fine got them both flushed abd changed the weekend (nice to meet you Paul!), so im just wondering if i would of carried on at 60deg would it of been ok? I know this is just the outside amb temp gauuge - obvioulsy it increases when the engines hot because of where the thermometer its placed.. Anyone else had similar? thanks Ed

right - just used it on a couple of bad patches and it came up great! Smooth to the touch too - like new paint! Im going to do the whole car in it. Cheers. Ed

Again - excellent replies guys - actually ive just checked my vin plate and it is colour 732! so back to halfords to change my colour pens - and swap the 'normal' t-cut for metallic t-cut!

Yeah i thought it was the metallic actually but its the standard black.
