Hi all, wondered if anyone can help..since yesterday i have a sort of er..rattling/scrapy sound coming from either the back or front wheel..it happens when i press the brake but then carrys on for ages and then goes away, then if i go over a bump or when i press the brake same thing happens again..im hoping its just something simple on my brakes, but now im thinking maybe the wheel bearings or maybe something worse..anyone had this? thanks Ed

hi all.. Does anyone know the exact name of a spray paint I can use to spray the CD/Vents surround - I brought one from Halfords, plasticote i think it was and I sprayed it, let it dry overnight, picked it up in the morning and the silver was just wiping off... Thanks

Hi all, Cars been running perfectly..no probs, wheni started it up to come home from work tonight i turned it over, and there was a lowd clunk sound - it mumbled a bit then started up..then drove home perfectly.. just wondered if anyone else has had this? What it might be? Thanks Ed

hmmm i rarely heat a whooshing sound - i must admit i was expecting to hear more when i floor it.. am i missing or have a broken bov ? sorry dont really understand the mechanics..

Just thought id let you peeps know of my find.... Past few months ive been trying to find a product that will actually clean my alloys (originals) tryed a few of them with one of those wire brushes (yes the safe for alloys one!) and nothing..couldn't remove the darn muck for love 'no money.. anyway - and dont ask my why i did this but i decided to try an interior wipe, you know the turtle wax/armour all interior wipes on the said wheels - and low and behold it works perfectly - they have come up like new!!! Honestly! takes a bit of elbow grease and you use quite a few wipes as they're not that big, but it works!!! just thought id post my good news!!! :hyper:

Hi all, I know there's a few posts about autoboxes at tho mo.. Just wondered if there symptoms of an autobox 'going'.. I only say as sometimes when i put my foot down, it doesnt kick down, and also tonight on my way back from work, im sure it was missing a gear.. then other times, it seems perfectly fine..dont know if its just me as its my first auto car.. its a '90 TT Jap Auto - no cooler installed, yet..also i've no idea when the autobox oil was last replaced, if ever, so is it just worth, getting it changed anyway? Ta in advance.. Ed
