Hi all - had a bit of a Traffic Light GP tonight - only as i was in the left lane only and i wanted to go straight on - wouldnt of normally..needless to say i beat the other car into the straight lane, but i just thought after, it was a pretty slow start, dont get me wrong im thrilled to bits with the acceleration of the Z but when i put my foot down it didnt seem to want to do anything for a second..i suppose new spark plugs (dont know how old mie are, must get them replaced) , new air filters or induction kit would be a start to help.. :duffer:

hi, just wondering - had the bonnet up the weekend, and there two accelerator cables ? - when i pressed the gas only the one moves? is this right? sorry for the lack of understanding in the mail - not sure what they're called...! Ta

Ok peeps - just had my tracking done - well it couldnt be done properly because he said one of the bushes at the back was damaged? anyway he said he squared it up so they were both side were a bit off but almost perfect..then i had all of them balanced. So - its got rid of the vibration through the wheel when going at 50-80mph, but i did still notice a bit when braking...maybe the discs, but they were supposed to be ok. Anyway just thought id give you some feedback..

Hi, Just noticed today when i was on the motorway, put my foot down and the power light didnt come on..seemed to boost ok, are there any instances when the power light wouldn't come on? comes ok from the switch by the gearbox.. thanks

Hi All, Just noticed , sometimes when I put my foot down (not to the floor) i get a sort of air horn noise (not as lowd!), sounds like its from the front driver side of the engine..just wondered if it might be something bad..!!

ive had new tyres on the back - just last week...front one dont need replacing - although they are nankangs...

Tie rod and tension rod bushes been different or are they the same? Thanks

hmmm i dont really feel anything through the seat - i dont think...just the steering wheel, had my front discs checked so shouldnt be them...think il'll try the balancing first.. damn! I wanted to get a leather interior next too!!! looks like it will have to wait!

yeah - come to think of it the front shocks could be the one - theres a few thuds coming from the front wheels when going over bumps etc.

Hi All, I have looked at all of the posts that appeared when i did a search on Steering Wheel Vibration.. Ok - so by the looks of it mine, which is the steering wheel vibrating at around 60-80mph and when breaking at speed could be the Tracking, Balancing or propshaft bearings. (Had the discs checked when i had my front pads changed).. Just wondered what actually cleared the vibrating up on people cars...what was the outcome? Thanks Ed
