Hi all - had a bit of a Traffic Light GP tonight - only as i was in the left lane only and i wanted to go straight on - wouldnt of normally..needless to say i beat the other car into the straight lane, but i just thought after, it was a pretty slow start, dont get me wrong im thrilled to bits with the acceleration of the Z but when i put my foot down it didnt seem to want to do anything for a second..i suppose new spark plugs (dont know how old mie are, must get them replaced) , new air filters or induction kit would be a start to help..

cant remember mate - didnt really look, maybe a vectra, like i say it was only as i was in the wrong lane , wasnt really a 'race'..just got me thinking afterwards as i havn't really put my foot down from a standing start before in the Zed. Once i was moving the acceleration was fiine, excellent, but it just seemed to 'hang' for a split second first, maybe it because i havent had an auto before..

how about been in neutral revving it then changing into drive?

how long was you in traffic? intercoolers probably warmed up and werent flowin cold air cold air......

Hesitation ? - Dirty throttle valves (most owners need to clean these), throttle valves need adjusting to open at same time, worn spark plugs, dirty filter, vacumm leak

Yeah i think your right, defo need a spark plug change, and filter change, where are the throttle valves and is there a best way to clean them?
