Using T-cut
Hi all, Has anyone used t-cut over the whole car? I was under the impression that it was just for swirl marks or light scratchs, but im told it can be used all over like a polish to bring it back to shine? Has anyone done this? Thanks

Halfords Touch up Pens
Hi all, Well - i drove straight though a rock fight between two little bl**dy idiot , braindead kids either side of the road today (can you still call them kids at 16?), stopped, got out, but they ran off..anyway cut a long story short ive got 3 deep cuts straight to the metal on the passenger side back wing and a little ding mark too - spose ill have to live with the ding mark, but went to halfords to get a touch up pen, and they didnt have the 300zx listed..now my car is black and there were two blacks listed under nissan..i chose Kuro(?) black because my car is a '90 and kuro black was listed for nissans '89 on and the other black was listed for nissans '92 on.. Just wondered if anyone knew off the top of there head what black a 1990 import may be? thanks.. ed

Sticking Rear Pad/Caliper

Sticking Rear Pad/Caliper
ok - so the wheel does turn and there is a bit of resistance, or is it a lot of resistance..hmm..felt quite tight but it does turn.. so if its turning ok and its not the pistons seizing - is that a different problem to the calipers that might need re-sealing? thanks again chaps, your knowledge is really appreciated.

Sticking Rear Pad/Caliper
Hi, Right, had my passenger back wheel off to today to investigate a scratching sound that gets rather loud the longer im driving (presumably as its gets hotter) when i brake, but then stays on for while after too, then goes off - then back on again when i brake - but the longer i drive the worse it gets and seems to stay on permanently. - hope that makes sense! Nothing i can spot instantly with the wheel off, wheel moves a bit but not that much to suggest the bearings. What i did notice, when it was on the jack with the wheel off, first i was in park hand brake on, and the pad was stuck on the disc, hmm i thought, so i took it out of park into 2nd handbrake off - pad didn't move, into neutral handbrake off, pad still stuck on the disc, is this right? Wheel back on - went for another drive, sound had gone even when i brake..until 10mins of driving round later, noise comes back (as above), and the longer im driving the louder its gets again. so what im thinking is maybe the pad is stuck to the disc..when its cold its not too bad, when it gets hot after much braking/driving - it expands more and makes this screeching noise.. Also , unless its in my head, the car doesnt seem to pick up as quickly when i put my foot down, only very slightly, but im sure its there - which would suggest that the pad's sticking again?? Any ideas? im a bit lost really...oh i noticed if i pull the steering wheel very sharply to the left while i was driving (only about 20-30mph) the sound suddenly stops - then carries on!!! :headvswal thanks for any replies.. Ed
