  1. Is that locals or dolphins
  2. Too right you don't get on much, 84 posts in 18 months  Hey fellas we have someone here who has a life and doesn't sit on the P.C all the time :p
  3. In my experiance belts go on start up more often than when driving, its that first pull on the belt that does it, so as the Duff man says you might not or probable wont have any damage. Try and find out about how the belt went and history of the car. If it is very tidy as you say and you don't want the hassle of new engine then you could allways break it, I'm sure you could more than recoup 650 in spare parts.
  4. When I got mine I paid 3200 for it, not perfect bodywise but no rust and all intact, I was abit impetuouse (spelling) but was lucky in the fact that the only work that has been done to it is what I want to do. If you look around and take your time you can pick them up at around that price. Good luck
  5. If you look at VX over the years and realise that they are cars for the masses, just like Ford, then you will see that as cheap cars go they are one of the better makes (defo better than ford and rover) So I don't get this idea of if it didn't have a VX badge on it I would like it sindrome. The VX220 is an awsome car, it does what its meant to do very well, and the only car that can be compared to it is the Lotus, and the VX wins, is it just cos of the Lotus badge that people can't make up thier minds.
  6. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tOzpPzHKPk4&mode=related&search= Try this one dude
  7. That is just amazing, I can't believe the guy walked off
  8. Quality
  9. That can't be them, nobody would be so stupid as to release a song that appauling
  10. You do realise Mr Papix that these cars have an inbuilt frustration removal tool, this is cool but leaves you left with only mad stupid and imbosilic thoughts, they come just after the initial woohoowhooo nerve is depressed just in the middle of your shoulder blades. But be warned, and I myself am going through this right now, when the nerve is not depressed for a while you get all kinds of feelings akin to cold turkey and you get very frustrated, you can alieviate this by drinking lots of larger and talking nicely to the wife. Good luck with ownership and welcome to the sanitarium
  11. I said SILVER damn you
  12. I had that years ago and lost it, oh its good to get it back.

Part of the points system that an individual has to obtain to get into Australia is being able to speak English, if you can't then you won't score on that part of the criteria. Now I don't have a problem with immigration in any way, but if we had a policy of not letting in people until they obtain a visa, and part of the criteria was to speak English, then this sort of thing will not happen. I also think the parents of the girl involved should have a talking to for not instilling tolerance in the girl.
  14. Save your money Bird, if you are going to wide arch it in the future then you will have to cut out arches so whats the point in getting them repaired now to destroy them later. Get it mopped now and see what you think, but remember SILVERis the best colour :D
  15. You big wuss
  16. If his mommy finds out about his language she will stop buying his favourite sweets. Dude needs a slap
  17. The way i am thinking now is to go back to a TT subframe and still junk the hicas. I was thinking of cutting the NA toe arm brackets off an old scrap frame and welding them onto a TT frame so I have the best of both so to speak. The thing is all mt running gear is like a 2 year old car so I don't want to take the chance of getting a crap diff and driveshafts.
  18. I got my bush's off flea bay so I saved a bit, look on concept z website they have them all and the z centre do them for about the same price.
  19. No mate I've been trying to get rid of her for years   Sorry, its time consuming when you havn't done one before and you are working on axle stands, I reckon if I had a ramp I could get the back end out in a couple of hours, change the bush's in another couple and bolt her backup in another couple.
  20. How about a 350Z for you and Vectra for her ;)
  21. I'd sooner get rid of the wife (don't tell her that she will hit me) No the subframe so I can start again, its all good fun :p
  22. Oh well I guess it can stay there until its sold then.
  23. No the subframe is comming out, thought you could do that for me this evening while I go for a drink :D
