  2. Don't these people realise they are f@#k%n with others lives  I hope it happens to them and then they feel the effects, it makes my blood boil.
  3. Is that cos you climb inside her and ride her for all shes worth :p
  4. As old as my hair and a little bit older than my teeth
  5. Audrey Hepburn played the lead in my fairlady, and as its a fairlady and mine it kinda went together.
  6. Well am I sad or do others have names for thier cars? Mines Audrey.
  7. Sod the sugestions!! Can I borrow your missus for my birthday? :p
  8. No probs with hard wireing was doing it years ago before iso leads came out. I was going to do away with the arial and get a digi arial, has anybody used these to good effect?
  9. I have just ordered a head unit for Audrey, oh I think I must explain. Audrey is what I have named the motor due to the fact that Audrey Hepburn played the lead in the film My Fairlady, can you see where I'm going with this? Anyway, the car has an aftermarket head unit in it at the moment but its Japanese. What I need to know is will the plugs be the same or does it not have an ISO connection. Cheers, Scrawni.
  10. Wow thats a great scimatic. Thats an engine out job, the reason I ask is I am getting a slight grumble at start up and wanted to check the main brgs and if needed change them out along with the oil pump. Never mind hey. Cheers for that guys, Scrawni.
  11. How easy is it to take the sump off in situ, Do you have to take out the engine, just lift it a bit or can you take it off without lifting at all. If you can take it off in the car can you drop all the main bearing caps to change the shells and is the oil pump easy to take off. Cheers
  12. Thats interesting as I was led to believe that the law changed a few years ago with regards to warrenty and servicing. Main dealers are not aloud to refuse warrenty if servicing is not kept up with them, i:e a specific manufacturer. And this also applies to parts fitted as it is not the vehicle or the fitter that is at fault but the part itself, unless they can prove the part was fitted incorrectly. So as far as i am concerned thats bull.
  13. Has anyone done the water injection route with the high boost? If so can you increase the boost past 14/16 psi? What about larger oil cooler to help with the tubs?
  14. I found a 1 yen coin under the passenger seat and a fag but in the ashtray. I bought a car in Australia from a couple of back packers and they left loads of stuff in it. A tent, Sleeping bag, Table, cooking stuff, and a picture of them both. They were very nice kids and got quite sentimental about the car and even took a photo of me, the new owner.
  15. When your driving, don't forget the car.
  16. You know I love blue cars, and before I got mine (silver by the way) I was going over the different colours I could do over in. Blue was the first colour I wanted, but guess what, the Beast popped onto my pc screen, now I can't have blue :headvswal Then I thought of candy red, been done :headvswal Will you people stop upping the stakes and have normal cars so us mere mortals can have beutiful cars. I'm off to cry into my bourbon.
  17. I do believe it is Gap, needless to say far too pricey
  18. Without a doubt :nana2:
  19. So then guys, what would you say is the easyest way to do it. Converter? Clocks? Nobody has mentioned the odometer yet, how does that all work?
  20. So can I get this cleared up in my own mind first. If I get some secondhand UK spec clocks to fit to my Jap spec this is all I need to convert to MPH. If the clocks come off a series 1 and I have a series 2 then I will need to change the speedo as the whole cluster wil not conect due to different plugs. Can I then buy some dial faces from the U.S as they are MPH and it will be O.K? By the way I love this smilie :nana2:
  21. Let us know how you get on as I have looked at these myself
  22. The reason I asked was sometime in the future I was going to fit a set of Tein with the EDFC and if i had it already there was no need.
  23. If you do get one mate read this article it will help a bit. http://www.nissanperformancemag.com/december03/300zx/
  24. Call me dumb if you like, but whats the electric adjuster for and is it standard?
