  1. Thanks guys but already booked in and deposit paid :headvswal Should have posted earlyer I guess. Oh yes, Clifford concept 650 with duel proximity £425 fitted at Cel-direct in Leicester. When I want to add features I will come a calling.
  2. Just a thought mate, but if you have a proximity sensor then you don't need total closure. You can leave the top open just like a convertable and it will be alarmed, no going back to a steaming hot car in the summer.
  3. Z centre are doing transparent cam covers now.
  4. Can you tell me what is the pcv valve and where it is located please
  5. The reason I said this is I nearly bought a zed with a fubar engine. The car was cheap so I priced up a rebuild before looking at it and was surprised at what you can get rather cheap, as in the link I posted. As it turned out the car was a pile of ....... no more said.
  6. Sorry to jump in, but if you are haveing the enhine (lol) out then would it not be just a cost effective to give it a rebuild. http://www.z1motorsports.com/product_info.php?cPath=1_6_14&products_id=1056 This is just a thought but at least you know the engine is a good one.
  7. Well I have already cancelled with him and booked into a place in Liecester. The worst thing about it is, I work nights and get home at 07.15 am then I drive 20 miles to a place I can't find to be told that. I ain't been to bed yet and its now28 hrs without sleep. I might go get a bottle of Jim Bean!!
  8. I was booked into get my alarm fitted this morning and was told that clifford would have to send a modified module as it is a Jap import. I reckon he forgot to order the alarm, what do you guys say?

I have just subscribed, does this mean i am welcome or not? If I am then how much and who do I pay.
  10. That sounds like a plan, I was going to get chrome rings for them anyway. I will find out the weekend if the guy is going to break the car so if he is I will post his number up.
  11. I might have found a set of UK spec clocks, but what I need to know is will a UK spec series 1 fit a jap spec series 2. Cheers.
  12. Does it do it when cold only or when warm too?
  13. I like Billynomates colours, subdued but striking (if that makes sense) I would leave the console and door cards a dark colour, you don't want to feel your sitting in a shell suit, and just use the cetrer of the seats to add colour. I have seen a very pale yellow, its almost cream that I think would be better for a black car, maybe, if you do it we can all see if it works lol. The tweed on mine has been replaced with a velvety stuff, looks quiet good. If I can work out how to upload photos i'll post some.
  14. Mine smells in the moring too and seems to stay on choke for a long time. I will be watching for an answer.
  15. "All this bloody rain is doin me edd in" said the wife who dosen't drive, I just laughed as I have been trying to get her to drive for years. "At least its cleaning the roads" said I Then I spotted them, slight drips from the roof panels, one on each side just as we got into the car  Then she laughed :headvswal
  16. Thanks guys, I have the one in the manual that billynomates put up. I down loaded and will study. Cheers.
  17. Help CAn anyone help me with a manual or let me know what it does, Its a REV/SPEED METER 0-100-400 time/switch control Thanks.
  18. Cheers mate I think I will get in touch with the Zcentre and let them give a good once over and belt change.
  19. Somebody has got to put it to music
  20. Its already given me a taste of what it can do. Once I had got back to roads that I knew, I got a bit more adventurous and off she went..................SIDEWAYS............................. Bit more respect needed me thinks. Can anyone tell me when the canbelt service is? Cheers, Scrawni.
  21. I have found a tyre that realy suits me and my right foot. Avon ZZ3s they are quiet, grippy in the wet as well as the dry, and last for ever. The best about them is they are rather cheap, so when my zed needs some I will put those on.
  22. I got my Z, I got my Z. And on the way home coming down the M1 near Nottingham I let another pass me cos he looked better and mine is stil abit tatty. Pics to come soon.
  23. I get mine in the morning. I,m at work all night and then a two hour drive to pick it up and then back home to bed.
  24. Mate I gotta say if that is your Zed in the pic then its no wonder that bloke said "Nice car" And to have a compliment like that from a Ferrari owner has just got to make your day.

If its only in the 13s then it is a bit low. Switch the lights and radio and wipers on and watch the volts, they should pick up to compensate for the drain, if not take it off and get it looked at it might not cost too much to put right.
