Sad loss of young life
Hi Chris and Marie-Anne I`ve just read all the tributes to Charles from his friends and it was very moving to see how much they all loved the young lad and how talented and kind he was . He clearly had an impact on many people in his life and their responses are a credit to themselves as well as him , showing what good , decent young people he spent his time among . R.I.P. Charles Love and hugs to Vickie Brian

Sad loss of young life
From a stranger...Condolences to Charles` family and love to Vickie . She`ll need all the help and support you give her . In time , it might help just a little if you let her read the messages of support on here . Sad , sad news .

Thanks to Wozzer and J The Gun
  My Satnav can be a bit slow on the uptake...well , one of us is  But I had a nice tour of the Outer Circle of Regents Park , some lovely terraces there . ( I like that style of architecture :) ) Oh , and it occured to me after my first post about you guys being kinda reluctant to talk about payment... Without being presumptious , I didn`t mean to give the impression that anybody could turn up and expect a manual conversion for instance , for a " drink " . Unless it`s an Oliver Reed weekend size one  Cheers J

Thanks to Wozzer and J The Gun
My pleasure , mate . I`d better add , for the more sensitive souls on this site ( yeah , sure there are loads :p ) that the guys don`t use the " colourful " lingo constantly . Just when the occasion requires .

Thanks to Wozzer and J The Gun
As above , thanks lads for checking the car over and doing the oil change . Saved me a mint compared to the quote from my local garage , plus J gave me his spare oil-pressure switch . They were reluctant to discuss payment for the work , but eventually had a drink out of it :p Highly reccomended , with the added bonus of some amusingly " colourful " language  Thanks for helping me out , chaps , I`ll certainly be back :D Brian

Parisienne Walkways , young man ! :nono:  And nobody told me Bob Dylan had died ! I happen to have bought three Dylan CD`s yesterday ( in Harrods o` course , daahhhlings ) :p I went to have a look at all the guitars in their monsters of rock exhibition : well worth a look...loads of autographed guitars . Hendrix , Stevie Winwood , Cream , too many to mention

Brought/bought
I`ve often heard TV presenters use the first one . Makes me want to shout , " There is NO H at the beginning of the spelling of the letter H , moron ! " But then I shorten it to " MORON ! " , just to save precious time . While I`m at it , BBC London ( TV ) have a presenter called Jonathan Wilkes who seems to have not even the slightest notion of punctuation . He ploughs headlong from one sentence into the next and then takes inappropriate pauses in the middle of another sentence just , it seems , to take a breath . The results are sometimes total gibberish . Fooker drives me mad ! He seems to think he`s announcing the start of WW 3 when actually he`s usually telling us about the Congestion Charge or the problem of chewing-gum on the pavements of Oxford Street . Send him back to school !!! I think it`s obvious that I`m not bothered either way about the whole business .

Brought/bought
For those who struggle with remembering the difference , think of the letter " r " : If you bring something today , tomorrow you will have brought it . And there is no letter "r" in either "buy" or "bought" . Just an idea , for those that care :) As it happens I do care about the English language, but appreciate that it`s of no importance to many . Hey hey , let`s be careful out there .

Welcome aboard , DMA , to be sure ! My previous car was a Prelude . I was quite happy with it ( for 5 months ) , until the fateful day I was bored and went onto the Auto Trader website and ...the rest is obvious  Always wanted a Z32 TT , and there it was , tugging at my bank balance , the slut !! It`s good `ere :p
