  3. maybe we are all accellerating into the future?
  4. z centre now do the one-piece version, which in my opinion is much cleaner. But my opionion also says 4 pot is better than 6 pot...
  5. there should be no problems, but i'd check the sizes first.
  6. Wonder-wheels cleaner, a small sharp screwdriver, and wd40. ;)
  7. wastegate chatter, compressor surge? bov/recirc's?
  8. maybe a silly suggestion, swb prop?
  9. The VTC and the o2 sensor connectors come off the loom at the same place, and it you look down the back you can see the bronzey colour VTC solenoid so you can see if its connected right. The Det sensor connector comes off the loom in the centre of the engine with the Air regulator connector at the rear, and the cable dissapears into the V of the engine, so again you should be able to see this is right.
  10. It wont be VTC and O2, it will be VTC and Det mixup ;) (see dark green colour) Loom: The three connectors on the right-hand side are: [EGT][o2][VTC] shown below:
  11. Air Reg is easy once you have mastered the IAA unit ;) just remember to bin that annoying metal pipe bracket! You can completely dismantle and clean both the Air Reg and AAC for a good clean with wd40 - like so: When i did this i found my Air Reg spring to be broken, so worth a check.
  12. FICD should be approx 22-25 Ohms AAC should be approx 10-11 Ohms Air Reg should be approx 75 Ohms As for removing, try a short extension bar on a socket, a flexi/UV joint is also nice here. When you refit it, junk the hard water pipe and replace with a 6mm silicone hose, makes the job a ton easier!! And finally, yes i have a spare one somewhere, ill get back to you.
  13. I have one identical for sale, £30 delivered. I used this for a long time with absolutley no problems on my Jap import.
  14. I want one! Willing to serve as a template for bolt-on/semi-bolt-on trimmed SWB Targa if needed.
  15. wonder-wheels cleaner, a small sharp screwdriver and wd-40 should do it.
  16. Are there some small pics of whats on the calendar?
  17. Within a whisker of done and dusted. :smash:  :nana2:
  18. i replaced both of my coolant sensors. Best way is to get the larger from MJP and the smaller from CZP in america as its cheaper. (Mine is an import too)
  19. if i remember rightly the brackets are steel and will rust overnight if you leave them like that, they need clear coating.
  20. just looks like a kitted mr2...
  21. Has anyone seen or heard from the fella recently? He seems to have dissappeared! Thanks.
