  1. To remove/refit (exhaust, driveshaft, handbrake, brakes) its not a complex task at all. All depends on how the garage will press out the bushings (diassemble or not), and how much of a bastid the bushings are being! Can be done within a day, my guess. If you want a quick solution until you have more time, you can fit locking collars much faster.....
  2. Bomber obviously had a shortage of dots.
  3. Nissan do all sorts of thing in their wiring looms.
  4. I should be careful with all these 'xenon ninjas' about...
  5. I don't think they will stay at that price, Nismo raised the price from $1,600 to $2,000 this January. And in the US there was a 6month+ waiting list to get them....
  6. So now you also have somewhere nice to keep your map of Detroit!
  7. Highly recommended: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0051ABE6I/ref=oh_details_o04_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  8. Happy birthday!!!!
  9. Price is fair, i think the rear lights and the paint is the main marmite here. And good photos really help to sell. Photograph the car with the engine off and the aerial down. Wash it again and take the pictures when the sun is not so low, so the metal flake doesn't look so 'dirty'. Maybe take the pics from a bit further back somewhere? That interior looks very nice quality, maybe a couple of more pics of it. And fix the speedo if you have the part, bit of an off-putter, like you said it just takes a minute.
  10. This.
  11. Pliers on the splines will be fine.
  12. oooooh...... watching this space..............
  13. Depending on the day of the week I can't decide whether to fit the Twinz one or Winfactory....
  14. Behind every great man, there is an even greater woman! :thumbup1:
  15. Nothing is impossible! Do you have a) the time, and b) the space to have two cars in bits next to each other without tripping over everything? If you took your time over the winter months, doing a bit here and a bit there on the weekends, for sure you will be driving a SWB in the Spring...
  16. There is a certain something that just isn't right with black roof bars. Its better on coloured cars maybe, on light shades i'm really not so sure. As Andrew said, it also looks strange with the Targas off. (I'm a BIG fan of the Targa's off look, that is when the Zed pushes it's exoticness... :chinese: )
  17. Oh no! Thats terrible. I'm so glad you are both ok, could have been more nasty on the left. Gutted, your zed was coming along nicely...
  18. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?171065-Bodyshops-in-the-South-East This might help
  19. I love the clean lines of the zed, especially the OEM front wings, the unique rear lights, and the stance when lowered a tad on correctly fitting wheels. but I'm sorry, the tssh of a dump valve on a Sunday morning drive is my vice. It doesn't half make a little smile appear!
  20. PMSL, Does anyone actually keep opened Baileys in the fridge like it instructs on the bottle? Ive had a bottle open outside the fridge for years and occasionally drink a bit. And im fine :wack:
  21. Its been covered a couple of times before on here, quick search should pull up some detail. Basically there is thinking that X-Pipe has slight power benefit due to the alternate back pressure pulses, google will bring up the science. I run a Greg Dupree X-Pipe, with Resonators. Main thing is, sound is fantastic.
  22. The newer jobs seem small fry compared to the previous stuff. And still the 'small fry' is stretching for us mere mortals! Lol. I hope this project leaves a lasting legacy on the club, and more people attempt this. This project is simply staggering! Now time for some custom fab engine components, you say??? Excellent!
  23. For any new cars I design, I have to check for this specifically. Hence why some cars have those little rubber ducts in the hatch corners. I'm suprised the Zed designers missed this one...
