If you shop around I still reckon £1,000 will get you a good job. Especially if you remove all the trim yourself.

Also another port of call might be DTA in Holland? Sorry for a small hijack here. But I have a question: Am I going to be ok taking my zed to Belgium with its current mods with regard to these regulations? Or will I be taking a yearly trip to the UK to get an MOT? I had no idea Europe was so regulated.

No, if you are only going to use your zed occasionally for track and launches then they will probably do. But for continuous and daily road use go with something that has been researched and manufactured in a quality controlled environment. You will be putting yourself and other at risk.

There are 2 locations, use the blank one. - on the passenger turbo oil feed - on the oil filter tree - 3rd option is filter sandwich plate. There's tons of talk about this in the past so a quick search will turn up loads of info.

Get a small sharp screwdriver and really scrape off the gunk from the lugs in the connectors. A good spray of WD40 will do the trick. Try to do every connector you can see. Also wiggle all the wiring loom just to check its not old corroded wires. (I had your same problem when I first got the zed, brand new loom sorted it in the end.)

The rose-jointed upper arms would require rose-jointed tension rods in order to survive.

yup, +£50 to get it all laser aligned.
