Short notice Drink Gloucester
Its a nice pub, but I think parking is an issue with that place. Seeing as its getting warmer and lighter out, somewhere where we could sit outside with the zeds would be good. There's a new place at the old cattle market near the Tesco with a lot of parking, near where they have built B&Q. Just thinking of others at the moment, but can only think of ones a bit out of the city. Always up for a short-notice drink though. We should make it a fortnightly thing seeing as summers coming on Allan.

Drifting - advanced driving in an auto
I was under the impression that it was the manual box that was weak, not the auto.

Time for some upgrades.
You have to wonder why they are selling it, probably because they are upgrading, meaning the old stuff is probably caned. So be prepared to fork out for new pads and discs.

Exactly! Saves having to route a hose through the firewall.

How much is it worth then?
On ebay it will finish at what? £1500? You could break it and get £3000. In your heart though, if you dont want to break it then thats fine. Keep it a few months till it gets warm. See what happens to the smoke with the standard exhaust, and maybe get a bodyshop to do a cheap rust repair. Then at least you can advertise as 'perfect'. No offence meant to any buyer, just helping him shift it! Only then will the price go over the breaking value.

are imports desirable
I reckon Targas are more desirable than Slicktops. A bit of summer sun and cool breeze. Thats real life desirability. Minor if at all noticable handling improvements arent everything... Of course if you are building a track beast then you dont care about the summer breeze!

next meet
To be honest, I have enough room for a summer barbeque if some local Gloucester people want to meet up sometime when it's warm? Enough room for tons of zeds. This is not for now, but in the future sometime. And definitely no whipping!

Always here to help the club post-whore! You wont find those parts cheaper than those suggestions. Hope the zed is back on its feet soon.

I think i've had enough
OK 1) Check MJP's site. He can have a new set of springs custom made to your requirements - height, stiffness etc. For about £130 if I remember right. 2) Get yourself online to http://www.tyretraders.co.uk and get 4 tyres at a cracking price. 3) Get it laser aligned sonny! Far cheaper than a new set of tyres! Not much really then :) Oh and ditch the HICAS if its causing trouble. Courtesy parts in the USA can provide new arms/ball joints and an eliminator bar at a great price.
