I am going to get bolt-on spacers for the front of my car to kick the rims right out into the arches. Rears sit perfectly.

I've found out that with a 25mm - 30mm drop on the front springs, I can actually get away with a +20 offset. Currently, front wheels are 45 on an 8.5J width. If I go for 20mm spacers, this should give me a +25mm offset? That right?

Check your front stud length carefully. I think they are longer than 20mm.

Makes no odds if I am getting hub-centric spacers. ;)

Never liked the idea of fitting anything larger than a 10mm spacer with extended wheel studs. Puts far too much pressure on the studs for like liking.

I'll be getting the below.

what he is saying is simon is that your existing oe wheel studs are longer than 20mm... therefore the end of the stud will be petruding from the wheel mounting face of the spacer once installed and will prevent your wheel from being fitted...

make sense?

stick some old black jack wrappers behind the spacer thus bringing it out further:wack:

Yes but there are recesses in the wheel hub. So even with the 20mm spacers the extra length of the wheel studs should be accommodated in the recess of the wheel hub.
