Old tw@t on A19 caused accident

Recommended Posts

Just to add to stellaz comments.

It appears that I havent crashed my zed or something because that obviously would be 'worthy'. When ever someone here knocks there Zed or rights it off its a totally different story and evokes a 'were all m8's in this together so dont worry' kinda posts.

Im sorry if im banging on a bit but I'm so disappointed. No accident is acceptable - so why the difference of response between someone totalling there zed and me getting a puncture?

Dont get me wrong I'm not looking for sympathy - I dont need it.

Just why the 2 faced approach? I dont mean this is a menacing way, cos thats not me, it's an honest question from a regular bloke thats all.

Please take this post as you read it, dont read between the lines and assume I'm out for an argument - I'm not. Just curious at the comments I've had at watching something happen that I had no control over.

Put yourself in my shoes for a moment.

which is why i said i wouldn't dream of commenting as i wasn't there, and i hardly EVER reply to posts that have another side to it that i havn't heard about, as i hate the stain of chucky egg on my face.

People are still assuming the old dear did something wrong because she was there, when maybe her prop or drive shaft broke and dug itself in the road, or any of 20 different things that made it impossible for her to move, yep sometimes pensioners etc give to much respect to the car and conditions and others about them, making it dangerous for others, but on the whole i would prefer to anticipate what a slow older driver is going to do, than some "know it all, race anything, pass anything WHEN he wants idiot"

and doesn't respect ANYONE

some see an older driver and think get him/her off the road, when maybe 20/30 years ago he may have been flying a harrier jump jet or fighter plane etc, where on the other foot, a LOT of bike accidents are caused by middle aged guys returning to biking thinking todays bikes are the same as when they rode a bike in their teens, assume nothing until you have driver a's version driver b's version and the truth;)

I dont know why she stopped or why he hit her - prob never gonna know.

All we can do is drive as best we can and hope we dont get involved in an accident.
