pmsl.@ bunny thanks for the concern bud but drifting is one thing i can do, was exaggerating slightly tbh, as i went round the roundabout the arse started to go so i used what i know to hold it and bring it back. The look on the guy behind mes face was a picture tho :D

I aint goin to go crashing it... not after spending nearly 4k ;)

cheers for the concern tho I am touched (in the head most would say..lol)

You could almost see him thinking "oh god this twats gonna crash right in front of.... hang on .... how the hell did he do that!!" he even gave me the thumbs up after i had come off the roundabout and down to the nxt set of lights..

dontcha just love drivers who dont understand?? lol

if you have a wide open space its like red rag to a bull isnt it paul? you just have to do it..

low impact car ballet...lol

If it was in a big wide open space i wouldn't mind drifting around but around traffic and bollards and roundabouts i just wouldn't push it in this weather.

Last time i did that it drifted a little bit too far and stripped 45 foot of fencing off, destroyed the front of my car banged my head and i ended up with depression and was put on seroxet for 6 months lol

That's why i'm a bit more caucious now, in the dry i'll hammer it like theres not tomorrow :D

i went out in the Rover 214 and even that was having a slide now and then! especially down the bottom of my road where there's a junction with a busy main road, bloody thing took a while to stop! the Z is definately staying in the driveway while the snow is here!

im alright... aint no snow just sunshine!

:hyper:

Disclaimer: I aint really happy about it... :slap:

I'll be keeping mine in it's garage till the weathers better.

:duffer:

We had no snow though. But as usual, dry weather car only. I have another car so use that.

Ain't it great when you drift around a roundabout. I had some pillock in a merc the other month try to cut me up at a roundabout so I floored it and ended up drifting it nicely. Should have seen the guys face anger that a woman had out done him, fear I was gonna hit him, smugness when he thought I was about to lose it then shock when I pull it off and left him standing :D

Oh boy I love my Zed :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:

Yes.....

.....I left the ZX in the garage, wisely!

I thought I'd still go to work in the SLK though. I got out of my road but when I reached the High Street it wasn't gritted. I couldn't get above 10mph even with traction control and "winter" mode of auto box switched on. Each time I did, the TC stopped me going and when I switched it off, I just slid.

I gave up, drove back home and went to work in the Rav-4. Much better for this type of thing :D

Richard :smw:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
