Actually after seeing Lambo style doors on a Z, I think they are a waste of money.

 

Yes they look kind of cool when they are up, but the action of having to put the door down to an normal open position and then close it makes it very pointless.

Totally agree. Find them a sad and pretty pointless mod TBH. All that work and money, just to make a door open in a different way....whatever floats ya boat though.

 

Zed doesn't look like anything either....it looks like a zed....

Dont bother fitting lambos, not worth all tha hassel, i tried to fit them on my last car, NEVER AGAIN, they dont fit properly even if it does say "direct bolt on, no cutting or welding required" absolute rubbish.

Even when I did manage to get them on the car, the door shot up like there was no tomorrow, if anyone was opening the car from the inside they would be shot out of the car! :rolleyes:

I took them off the car after a week. wouldnt buy them again.

Thats my opinion anyway.

i asked him about them and he says he has no pics of the kit and doesn't know where they came form.... so id stay away from that one! they are very pointless.. but again i do think they look quite good, but i haven't heard of a kit that fits ours yet.

iv asked about those as well, $175 to get them posted out to us, but again no pics of the kit, but they do come with a lifetime guarantee, although would be interesting trying to claim that from hear!

ok i finally ordered my hinges today.

 

i could of gone with the vdc kit or the decah but they are not good enough, the problem is the door wobble when up and they dont go the full 90 degrees upwards.

 

the ones made by gt factory are better and they are weld ons, however its easy to put bolt holes in.

 

i ordered mine today and they should be here in a week or two, as soon as they are i will post some info and fitting pics.

$1177 total.

 

current uk converted price: £642.24.

Mate you are going to have to get some pics up of them when they are fitted!! iv spent the past year looking for a good set, with no joy yet, have you been given a price on fitting?

i think everyone has the own point of view, but if your looking for style and all that, then lambo doors just gives it the edge, i no this sounds mad but do you think anyone out there has suicide lambo doors, and if so how the hell would that work
