Due to time constraints I'm handing in my notice as Treasurer. I've been promoted at work which means that I'm very rarely at my desk anymore and frequently travelling between sites, therefore I can't allocate the time I used to in doing the Treasurer's duties. From getting up at 5:30am to start work, I rarely see the good side of 8pm before I've finished for the day and I'd like to spend time with my partner without interruption! :D We no longer have many free weekends and due to more time being taken up with work, we rarely get the opportunity to spend time together. Plus which, the housework is suffering!!

 

It's a decision that I've been thinking of making for some time but kept putting it off until the accounts were sorted, which they now are and have been passed over to the Committee.

 

I'm not sure who will take over the role, but I wish them all the best for the future. I'm honoured and pleased that I was able to assist in the setting up of the Club but it will be very nice to be able to be an ordinary member of the Z-Club again! :)

ajay - we've never met but cheers for the time and effort you put in :bow:

i hope you'll stay an active member of the club
