I am looking for new rear tyres very soon  and I have come across these Toyos. Are they any good? I havent heard anything bad about them, but the price is very very cheap for them I think. Even cheaper than the budget ones.

Dont forget with the wider tyres you probably have twice as much rubber on them so they should do twice as much mileage. ;)

Yeah but where's the fun in that :D

S-03's last longer than S-02's - but not much !

Surely they cant wear any worse than the S02s. They only lasted 8,000 miles on mine.

lol exactly goes to show how "old man they are lmffao"

So reading that sentance from a manual owners point of view, it says the following.

"not at all stu, its an auto thing, and auto is obviously slower, and doesnt wear out your tyres like a manual does, tyes engine all suffer with manual boxes because of the superior performance yu get" :D:D:D

i have so3 s and so far so good, better than so2s for sure.

I use the Hankook Ventus Sport K104's. They last ages, 10000 miles so far and still looking fresh. They grip really well in the dry but are not so good in the wet. Fun level is v.good in the wet :o) Stability, cornering at high speed is exceptional.

My Proxies only lasted about 6000 miles. No noticable difference in the dry to the Hankooks.

PS

Don't but the Ventus 102's unless you wanna be screaming Hanfook as you go round a bend in the wet :)

I use the Bridgestone SO3s and find them really good tyres. I had Avon's on the black Zed when I bought her but have just replaced the rears with the SO3s as I prefer them.
