Yup - what he said.... keep them, if only for show.

I would (maybe) only delete mine, if I decided to fit a '99-spec front bumper - but then I'd have to the whole hog and get a J-spec headlight switch pod, without the washer button and remove the pipes etc. My OCD would not permit me to have a switch that didn't operate anything ?

I am proud to have a UK spec car, so even if the washers did not work properly, I'd keep them in place as part of its provenance ?

Keep them, sorry about the ebay message yesterday! Im still digging/sorting through my garage, so if I find anything I will let you know

Delete them, they look naff and are of no real use. My van has them, I do a considerable amount of driving it it and they don’t help they just make the lights wet you’d need a wiper like on some lorries to actually make the damn things useful.

....You are absolutely right there Steve - no use at all, even on modern cars. Julia's Evoque has them, and all they do is make a mess - the fluid just runs up along the bonnet creating streaks ?

I agree with deleting them, hence the question in the first place.

In 25 years of UK Z ownership as a daily I have used them about zero times.  I assume they are part of the MoT so they may get used once a year, and I prefer the cleaner look

However there are not may UK Zeds left so they stay.

My plan is that anything not oem is easily reverted, any oem parts removed will remain with the car

Remove them & keep the pump just cap it off! they look horrible & add no real function or value to the car. That way they are easily refitted if you get a serious buyer interested that is a die hard  & upset that is isn't 100% stock. If i was buyng a Z and noticed they had been removed then atleast i'd know that some work has been done & could question them about what work has been done. I have removed them on numerous cars and never missed them, nor had an MOT failure because they were removed
