Hi guys,

about time to get this thread up and running for this years show.

 

This year the Event is on July 28th - see link below, on Beaulieu's web site, which covers the entire event including ticket prices, that can be bought either on the day, or in advance, through their website

If we can get a list going of all those members who are interested in attending this year, In the meantime i will contact the organizers to register the clubs interest, and update this thread accordingly.

 

Happy for anyone to start any 'Convoy' related threads :whistling:

 

I will start another thread with the meeting times on the day etc, in the next month or so, which will probably be at the nearby Tesco again.

 

Fingers crossed for better weather this, as last years, was awful :thumbdown:

Nice...:wink: Been pretty pants here all day - still warm though, but drizzly and grey :sad:

 

Up until earlier this afternoon I was still up for this - but three recent weekends away, almost in succession, have caught up with me; so with regret, I have to pull out of this one. Sorry folks - this is usually the best show of the year, but sadly not for me this time. Have a good one though...:clover:

Cool we got the monorail spot again, albeit a smaller pitch. Did anyone see what the peoples choice cars were?

One was a 240Z from Hampshire Jap Cars, didn’t see what the other was

It was a great day, my friend and I left at 6am, drove along the A27/M27 and on the way convoyed with a skyline until Chichester, a 350Z with back window lurves (which looked cool!) from Shorham until Lancing and a Legacy for some of it too.

 

The tesco car park was a good meeting point as usual, although it seems to be used by everyone and their dads(!) now! We then did a 300zx convoy to the grounds and queued our way through the gravel car park (Sorry Si!) and into the grounds. The location was ideal, the monorail even gave us some much needed shade in the afternoon (although I still burnt my knees!

 

It was really good meeting people and putting names and faces together! I hope we can organise more meets as the face-to-face interaction is what drives a club, and for me atleast, seeing all the cars in their prestine condition as really spurred me on to get working on my car and its less-that-pristine condition for next year! Having said that, I got 17 photos, 1 selfy and a youtuber clip where the guy called it a Nissan NZX! I even got two "Wow dad, look at that car!"

Always like Beaulieu as a venue - especially when it's sunny! :cool2:

What a great event ! Some amazing cars there......and some quite nice models from other manufacturers too :-)

 

Despite only 9 or 10 (?) 300ZXs I think our marque can hold it's head high ! Was great to meet everyone...and really nice to follow and listen to Howard's car especially on the overrun under a motorway flyover !

 

Will definitely be back next year !

…..And such a shame I could not make this one :sad: Beaulieu is one of the best car shows in the calendar - glad you all had a good one - I will be there next year though:cool:

Thanks for organising the day Howard, it was a lovely day out. We had one of the best locations at Beaulieu

to display the cars which was nice! Just a couple of pics of 1547 and one of Howard's on the way home. Looking
