Ive saved up to get her back on the raod, but ive had horror stories with garages ****ing me about. So last ditch attempt.

 

Do you guy know a garage in Southend that is not going to go bust, talks the talk and walks away with your money, you get the drift.

 

Im fed the **** up with cowboys.

:confused: Mate has Jimmer tonked your missus in the past because ime not getting all this...you have a chance of getting your car sorted for the very last time by the very best Z32 technician this side of Estonia and your not interested :(

I hired a trailer for £80 for the weekend and took it myself from Peterborough.

Would rather it went to the right place, regardless of hassle to get it there, than risk having the regret of a bad experience.

Seriously though - as sir Z of Nut suggests, you seem to be looking for any excuse NOT to take your car to Jimmer. You have the options, you have the input of many others above, just do it mate....:wink:

You have two options mate. Get it done cheap at a local garage or take it to Jimmer.

 

The first option will end in tears the second in driving joy but only you can decide.

OK, enjoy getting bummed again by someone local because it was easier to get the car to them.....

There are other garages that can work on the car. For example in Essex you have Torque Developments International who are currently tuning a formula 1 car so I expect they might have some idea, though you will need deep pockets. Having said that all engineers make mistakes it's just part of life so you won't find anyone that's perfect. Then there is Dan Turner at Advanced Motorsport Developments who I was with for quite a while and often wish I had stayed (but like I said we all make mistakes). They're near Silverstone so quite a distance from you so back to square 1. My current engineers are Advanced Motor Developments in Wigan who are fantastic and we are really pushing the boundaries.

 

But it surely depends on what you're after in the car and that will dictate where you take it.

If you dont take it jimmers or get it transported there you'll just be sying the same thing and adding another one to the list of garages that have ****** you up

Jimmer is held in very high esteem by a lot of people in the Z community.........

Being a long time established specialist and generally top bloke helps as well........

When I get any major works done that I can't handle, it will be going to Jimmer......

That's the problem! all this not transporting the car miles away!

No mention of work or problem or problems you have & it has been asked before!

So u have had far more ideas & help about getting ur zed from a to b!

The forum is no more the wiser on what needs to be done?
