Hi folks

As I'm sure you are all aware you've seen my project dream turn to dust.

Sadly I'm left with having to break the 300, as u know it's a 1994 UK spec twin turbo with manual gearbox with low mileage.

Some bits have been earmarked by members already but if there is anything you need then I'd rather bits go to the members on this forum rather than random eBay buyers.

Now I'm not a breaker but am a sensible genuine person, I am happy to remove most parts but I won't attempt to remove items that I don't have the skill knowledge or machinery to do so, this will be done by my good friend who is a bmw m3 specialist.

Obviously some parts may come off slow time when he can fit the jobs in.

I am local to biggin hill in kent. 15 minutes from junctions 4 and 6 of the m25 if collection is preferred.

If you are further away then I'm happy to look into postage or a courier service.

Please let me know if anything is of interest.

Regards luke

Hello all,I've been a bit quiet on here whilst I have been clearing the removed parts from my garage to make way for bigger items like the doors and gearbox ect.

Sadly I will no longer be allowing buyers to my home following an incident last week where a forum member bought a part via eBay.

He arrived earlier than arranged and knew i was taking my children to school.

After he'd gone I noticed a part was missing and upon viewing my cctv he has removed it from the car and hidden it in his vehicle before I arrived home.

I dont know his details on the forum but he did tell me he was a member ( at the same time as slagging off the forum and it's members).

I know this isn't a true reflection of you all but one bad apple has certainly made me reconsider allowing people to my home.

I'm.about to have a read through the thread and update members ect

Thanks,luke

What is the situation with the above please?

Hi there. The sterio is available and glass also however the glass hasn't been removed yet

Hi yes I am however as I have stated I work full time 5 12 hour shifts per week, days and nights, along with caring for my 2 children when I am on rest days,I'm not a mechanic and breaking this car was not my intention.

I have explained that this will be a slow break at my own pace due to time limititations and the fact I'm not a mechanic.

I've stepped back from the forum lately due to lots of messing around from members and others trying to get me to sell them the parts that were already earmarked for other members, aswell as many members offering to buy parts for far less than what they are worth, i am now seaching for prices of similar items online before i sell.

This is not the same for all members so please guys I'm not slating you all, just pointing out what's been happening by pm and calls texts.

Disgraceful! IMO you should post the CCTV footage so we all know who to let into our houses. I’m sure you won’t Luke as you have more class than that.

Not good Luke  did he pay for the part and if you know who it is you could pm me his name.

Bad news mate, must be quite the burden to have.

Still happy to come remove the gearbox or whatever last push to get rid of the thing :)

That's awful mate, sorry that this has happened to you. I agree, name and shame. What a scummy pile of shit you are if you're reading this. Go **** yourself.

That's good to hear mate, I'm in no hurry.

Sorry if you have already done so, but how would you describe the glass with regards to condition?

Also, do you have prices for both the glass/stereo?

Not a nice experience you think you can trust people and they always let u down

If your back selling yr parts I am still waiting on price for the blue door glass and upper door strips

Regards Stuart

A thief is a thief. Forum member or not they should be exposed.

if someone has stolen from you, they are just scum, and not the sort of person we want as a club or forum member.

have you contacted them to encourage them to pay up or return your part, if you know who they are?

if you want any of the committee to be involved, please let me, Gary, Richard or Lee know and we will see what we can do.

the fact they bought via ebay and slagged the forum off suggests someone who may not be a current member and has probably not been in touch via this thread?

but if they are current, thats shameful!

I’d agree, let him know he’s been caught on cctv and give him the opportunity to pay up but I’d still be naming and shaming him on both here and Facebook :mad::mad:

How awful, its bad enough when you have to break your car but when people do that it puts little faith in the human race. Hope he gets caught buddy.

Hi Luke this is an unbelievably despicable act, and I am so sorry its happened to you given your 300zx experiences so far

We owner's / enthusiasts are not all like that as can be seen on the forum and I really hope it does not put you off being a future owner once you have cleared this poor misrepresentation of a Z as they are great cars

You really must report this to the police as it is theft so must be dealt with in law and having CCTV footage and other proof you should have enough evidence for a conviction

This process, if it works, will not only recompense you but if you make the forum aware of whom this cretin is so we are not caught by them and also will help protect you as he knows what is still on your car and where it is

All the best A 2X OK

Sorry to hear this bud and like everyone said we need to know who it was so we can stay clear of them:)

Sorry to hear about the bad experience, have you made any decision on the engine / injectors? I would be interested in the injectors if they are the later S2 style

None of the UK cars will have the later style injectors Lee as these didn’t come in until around ‘96 manufactured cars.

Was thinking if you ordered a new / replacement injector from Nissan would they still sell you the

S1 style or would they say it's been supersceded by the S2 and

you need a new harness to along with it! BTW hope all is well Joel, I see your Zed looks great! Regards Lee:)

You can order a replacement old style injector from Nissan and I think they’re still available, but they will set you back around £570 each!

You’re possibly better off biting the bullet and getting yourself a new set from Nismo/Tomei, fit and forget. I would recommend either the 615 or the 740cc but make sure you buy from a reputable supplier, I purchased mine from SpecialtyZ. Otherwise, stick up a wanted thread for a good used one to get you by until you get an uprated set.

Thanks about the Z, it’s still going strong after it’s Jimmer engine build and has been very much pampered in my 11 years of ownership!

Edit: sorry for the thread hijack Luke!

If you go for the 615cc or 740cc pintleless injectors you will also need the adapter kit:

Well as it happens Jimmer has managed to get hold of one S1 TT injector for me, I will do the upgrade with the JWT adaptor at a later stage for sure, I recently replaced the RPS clutch for a Spec Clutch (Stage 3+),

so will be back on the road shortly:)
