Tesco is cheap here, £1.09 for normal and £1.18 for momentum which I always use. Other stations around here are about £1.10-£1.18 for normal fuel. Asda is cheapest at £1.06, but I don't trust their fuel, same with morrisons. I'm not even sure why I don't trust it really...probably stupid

Yes Z's need the high octane fuel to keep your engine in top condition but your prices are better than here in Belfast. I saw a newish Maserati owner putting cheep fuel in his car last week

Yeah, I’m paying about £1.30 for Vpower at the moment, although I’ve seen it around the £1.38 mark in my general area.... Bloocy yanks messing it up for the rest of us!

Would you guys recommend Vpower over the BP Ultimate or supermarket high octanes? I'v got a selection of all stations near me.

Yes as V-Power has a higher RON rating, so does Tesco's Momentum99. BP Ultimate is nothing more than a regular super unleaded with a few more cleaning additives in it.

Should of said BP Ultmate super unleaded with the 98 RON reading. V power has 99 RON.

Hi guys. Well I work as fuel dispensing service engineer and as stated prices have shot up. The best fuel brands are Shell vpower, BP ultimate and Esso supreme u/l. But in my opinion Tesco momentum is just as good for the price and is 99 octane. Considerably cheaper. Regarding other supermarket fuel, I would steer well clear. I personally fill up with Tesco. Had no issues

It was some time ago but back when I had my Fiat Coupe 20vt I had it live mapped after fitting a load of mods. I asked the guys who were going to map it what fuel they recommended and they said that the Tesco’s fuel was as good as any of the premium high octagon fuel.

Great choice but no Shell, Esso or Tesco Momentum over here just the normal Tesco petrol so BP 98 RON is my only option.

I have certainly noticed prices on the up here....

On the way home from work the other day, I stopped at a BP to refuel the Merc - regular unleaded was just under £1.30, but the Ultimate/Super was over £1.41 per litre. And Merc just specifies super UL for the AMG.....

High Wycombe is generally cheaper than most areas local to me - but even then, V-Power or BP Ultimate is still generally over £1.30 per litre.

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

We got spoilt, remember when fuel prices were over 1.50? Not that long ago. There has been a concerted effort drive up fuel prices by the Middle East and current tensions between the IS and Iran have put the nail in. Can’t see it being much worse than where it was three years or so ago...

Next post..."but we don't use water in our zeds so what a stupid post":lol:

Well stop moaning its still cheaper than water:yes:....

PMSL.... Nicely put Bri….

Ah, but we do..... We all like to wash them - and that takes a fair bit of water....
