I'd try and get some to be honest. Even if you put a blue tint behind the bronze that you have, it's going to be 'off'. Might highlight even more the fact that it's bronze by darkening it.

this glass came off the blue japspec series 4, which was previously untouched.

"Beginning in 1995 all JDM and Euro models got “green” tinted glass. This green glass is sometimes thought to be

blue in color but it is not to be confused with the early blue colored glass from earlier models. USDM got the same

green glass for all 96 models. This green tint can also appear nearly clear under certain lighting conditions.

She's so fine, there's no tellin' where the money went - Simply irresistible.

Hate to disagree with your source on that one Andrew, but every ‘95 car I’ve seen (including my own) is blue glass. I’ve only ever seen Green tint glass on 1996 onward cars

***having read it and seen the source, maybe it’s a late 1995 change as I know my car is an early 95***

It's not clear (at least to me) whether the author is quoting model year (went on sale) or production date (came off the line).

A VIN should enable me to look up in FAST and see what glass was used for a particular car.

The main point I was referring to was the "This green tint can also appear nearly clear under certain lighting conditions" bit as

that could be what Lee was experiencing with his garage lights.

Its very hard to tell, even with white paper behind the glass.

My zed is a JapSpec 96 Series 4 TT.

All the other glass was blue but as I said the quarter glass had a tint / film on it which I removed.

What an interesting thread, i had a discussion with an autoglass 'technician' late last year and i showed him my late 94 door glass, we discussed the colour, i said it was blue and he adamantly said it was green - not thought much else about it until now, seems he's correct.

This is my 1/4 glass with the paper outside

And inside

And this is my door glass and according to the author Greg it is the same as his '96 because he quotes it is NSG M408 and that is stamped on my late '94 window.

So if i understand correctly the 2+0 from late '94 on is part number 80301-53p00 for the left and 80300-53p00 for the right.

This is my glass.......
