Perfect wheels! :) Genuine ones too. Does look good. Shame about that badly crushed sill return. You'd have thought he'd have gotten that fixed whilst in for paint.

That does look very nice. Although part of me thinks the colour looks a little bit like a car in primer?!

Mmm... yep have to agree

Mmmm, I'm not to sure personally.

Kind of works for me, in a unique kind of way.

On first glance i thought 'slicktop' ?

So there lies my thoughts on the roof, just takes the slicktop look away from it but standing besides though might be completely different.

It does flow through though saying that, something seen on today's cars.

Agreed, doesn't make sense not to have re worked them prior to paint.

Makes you wonder what else lies beneath.

I like it wheels at very nice.

You would have thought so - perhaps it was damaged post paint.

This is what was done...

"I paid $8k for the following work:

-Down-to-metal glass-out respray w/ two-stage paint and two-tone masking

-Refinish door interior faces, door jambs, trunk interior faces, trunk jambs, radiator support

-Shave rear wiper

-Shave antenna

-Shave rock guard texture from rockers, fenders, doors, and rear bumper

-Rust repair on roof

-Fit and prep fiberglass nose panel

-Fit and prep fiberglass spoiler incl. wiring 3rd brake light

-Replace broken windsheild

-Rebuild and re-key ignition, doors, trunk, and glove box lock cylinders

-Refinish front windshield wiper stalks and side mirror bases matte black

-Repair/grind exterior door handles where rubbing"

The colour (PPG 791, Ferrari Grigio Medio) is different and I've not see it on any Ferraris over here. It would be good to see the colour

in the metal. I think the black roof treatment works rather well on a slicktop.

There's quite a lot of damage done by multiple poor lifts it would appear. I think it was there prior personally.

Love what he has done to the roof.

Me too, Gary......

.....Which is probably why I like it! I know what you're saying Andy, but it's those little touches that give the Z32 a timeless quality. A few subtle changes; like the gloss black roof, clearing out yellow indicators, adding larger wheels, that just enhance and update an already iconic design. When you see a 300zx with such simple modifications, you'd be forgiven for thinking that it hasn't long rolled out of the factory - even in 2017!

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

I've always professed that slicktops should have a panoramic style roof, it would've quite easy and cheap to test it too with a sheet of black vinyl. OEM+ [emoji41]
