Anyone else here seen their old zed turn up years later looking totally different ???

I owned this zed in 1995 when it was a youngster, just 5 years old

Was pin sharp clean straight from the dealer, little mileage and already had a Veilside chip, and exhausts running 14 psi boost delimited and converted to UK mph, sitting on a set of genuine multispoke gold BBS rims, remember this was 1995 and all the work was already done, this was when a UK zed in standard form was £20k + at a Nissan Dealers.... but it was regarded as a "nasty import" in those days....£7.5k is all I paid 22 years ago

Now looks very, very different, from the Lincoln area it seems>>>>>

Oh dear :( How did you feel when you saw it Jeff?

Shocked to be honest, was my first Z, and back in the day despite the low cost I got it for was a WOW car to my neighbours, friends etc.

cut my teeth as such on it and shame its not still stock, massive BHP engine apparently though.

Jeff

Not to my taste but better it's being used, enjoyed and looked after instead of neglected, rusty or broken for parts

At least the air freshener is happy !!

It's debatable on their legality but unless those are switchback halos then i cannot see any other signal on the front.

EDIT: On looking again, there could be a strip in the top of the fog light aperture, my guess though it's crude.

Saw it the other day. Hideous. It's a 'drift car' apparently which is the current excuse for something looking so terrible.

Looked 4.5million times better when you owned it. Now it just looks like a freebie that fell out of a Cornflakes packet.

Thankfully monstrosities like this are becoming fewer and further between.

I bet all the folk on that awful Nismo 300ZX page on Facebook are jacking off over it though!

I like the arches, the splitter looks gash though. Always amuses me how people get het up about what the owner of a car does to "my old car", if you were that bothered you shouldn't of sold it. At least it's not been scrapped.

No got me mixed up with other`s, I sold that near 20 years ago so not in in the least bit bothered for me, just what is promotes the zx marque as.

I made a thread a while back concerning the look of overly dressed up zeds, and look my old one is like it ! ironic eh?
