I suspect it will stay in France, however if anyone is seriously looking at it I may be able to offer storage of it in France.

300zx in the very rare yellow.

There is a good reason why they were rare...............................................

Isn't it quite difficult (and expensive) to get an imported car on the road in France? Or is that just JDM imports?

It's probably relaxed if you're immigrating, due to EU regulations. You can bypass our extortionate registration tax when moving to Ireland with a vehicle you've owned for at least six months.

Yes, Hubert (Hub280ZX) gave an explanation here on JDM vs UK/Euro specs:

Project 1547 - Out of the Blue

She's so fine, there's no tellin' where the money went - Simply irresistible.

Registering a UK car isn't cheap or simple, you need a good grasp of the lingo and the process. Registration of a non EU car such as a JDM import is even more expensive and long winded.

Have been down to Royan a couple of times.

It's approx 500 miles from Calais if I remember.

Nice part of France.

Love that pearl yellow, it's a great colour, but it's such a gamble with those poor quality photos.

New series of Wheeler Dealers being filmed now. . . . Pity it will be Ed-less, but I am sure the new boy will be OK. Get the trailer out Mike

Hellow Andrew!

I was in Spa mid May for Spa Classic 2017 and the track sessions: Nice break again before summer time!

The white caged Boomin 300ZXTT is the one I take for this event, and it runs fine.

Very effective AP Racing brakes for late action, and enough power to get exhausted after two track sessions:

I had two immediate successive sessions on Sunday, each 25 minutes: I drove the first without problems.

But then, after 10 minutes on the second, I had to slow down for two laps as the shirt was wet and the attention was suddenly vanishing away!!

Maybe I get too old?

You need a lot of practice on track to keep the high performance for long (more than 45 minutes...)

Safe finish and nice drive back home: This is the main point.

Just for fun, this my latest acquisition from the US side:

Manta Mirage 1982 kit car. One of the approx 150 units still alive from 450 manufactured.

1900 Lbs and center V8 350 Bhp 331ci

Inspired from Mc Laren M8b Canam model

Manta was the manufacturer of the Coyote model wellknown from the TV series in the US

That car is stopping anyone on the road for pictures (the only disadvantage) but I like to drive cars that are different!

Looks like the car has been sold as it is no longer listed on ebay.

Anyone here perhaps?

Not me! I messaged the chap as my mum lives not 15 miles away from Royan and until I got drove it back to the UK, it could have sat in a garage happily. But it's gone. It was a UK reg car with UK plates. Yes, would be interested to find out where it went!

Says 'unsold' based on what I can see. Looks like no one bought it if there was a reserve on it.
