What do we think is the best colour on a zed. Or just nice colours in general. I need to decide on one.

I think I'm gonna be going black again but then I'm completely unsure what to go for, like, metallic, straight black etc.

What are peoples thought

If you're sticking with black, then I suggest either Mercedes Obsidian black or Land Rover Santorini black....

...Both are very similar - with a subtle gold and silver fleck in the mix. PhilP's UK spec Zed is Obsidian black and it looks dead good...

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

I'm not too keen on silver albeit some look nice. I love that blue one but I already have a blue one Lol. I have to admit some white ones are nice

gloss black looks the best when it polished up

But looks great for all of 30 seconds before a gnat breathes on it and spreads its nasty dust on the top surface making the whole car look as if you havnt even touched the fooker with a sponge!!!!

Those greys are awful. Can't understand the fascination with them myself.

Correct, at last years Frankfurt motor show the Audi hall was filled with flat grey cars and they all looked shit.

There's grey out the window.

I do love my black, just not sure whether metallic or just plain black.

Ignore them, it's incredibly popular ATM. You can go with whatever you like. The greys look great, we get loads of complements on the colour, that car gets more attention than the zed TBH. This in my opinion looks awesome.

This is very much a subjective topic and everyone's opinions will be different. In my opinion it doesn't matter what colour a Z is painted (within reason!), it will look great. For me, the choice of wheels/stance and styling will make or break. Then again, the choice of wheels/stance and styling is a very subjective topic and everyone's opinions will be different (luckily)!

I do get what you mean. As for styling, the wheels are staying the same, Antera 309's but I've had to buy a new set which are in great condition.

As for the rest of the styling, its again going to be pretty much as it was. I made loads of 'improvements' following the make my zed look better thread. The last piece of that was the stillen type 3 front lip which is here. I need to decide on what side skirts will be beat to get though

The yellow is nice. But I must say I love the Original grey in mine.

I think the yellow can look very good!

The liquid yellow used by renaultsport in the flesh is stunning. In the original versions it was reported that they used an ounce of gold dust in every one!!! Mind blowingly gorgeous.

I also like the slate like grey you get with the Focus RS. That's kinda pastel and non metallic looking
