  • And they have arrived !

  • After the oil got contaminated and slightly washed down with fuel the turbos also ceased up. I decided to strip them and do the rebuild myself as the costs for that at the moment to be done profe

  • Well that was a quick trip, planned to stay to Thursday but unfortunately had to come back earlier.   At least Jimmer now has all parts to start an engine build.   Hopefully we wil

A video of the horn - not me shitting my pants :)

Wiring up my two news horns and as they need a separate 12v feed I've setup a relay to trigger them from the main horn feed.

For some reason the relay didn't work so while I was under the car sorting it out I decided to test the horns directly and put the

12v feed on the horns.

Bad idea !

I royally shit my pants under the zed as it was so damn loud :)

I'll try sort the feed properly and post of video of it.

Nice to see it in the final stages.

How come you didn't just wire the horns to the existing harness? Have you fitted air horns or something?

New Injectors have arrived, can you guess what they are ?

While I wait for the engine to be built I've started doing the more tedious jobs.

Like fitting the alarm.

Its a toad ai606, but I've purchased different microwave sensors so that I can build the sensors into the a-pillers.

First I drilled a pilot hole then gradually used a larger and larger drill bit until I got to a suitable size for the sensor to fit snug.

At the back I dabbed the cable and sensor in hot glue to keep the cable from snagging or pulling on the sensor.

This give it a very natural fit and when put back in place you wouldn't even know it was there.
