The rebuild has finally started today and so far in a few hours I've managed to completely strip the interior.

 

 

 

Next job on my list is to get both the bumpers, tailgate and bonnet off.

 

After that i'll work on the body panels and stripping down the engine.

So when will it be finished mate :thumbup:

new 2 poster lift arrived today

 

new ramps were finally installed on Friday and I've started more of the strip down.

 

Only had an hour or so but I managed to get the old exhaust off

 

And for the first time I managed to get a view of underneath and its very clean looking.

It looks in good condition Lee.

Old auto gearbox came out today and boy that bugger didn't want to come quietly.

 

 

I had a seized bolt on the torque converter and it took a lot of mild persuasion to get it off.

 

After the box was out I moved on to the engine area again.

 

After draining some fluids the bonnet was off, radiator out and started on the fuel pipes.

Apart from the fluid spillage its actually in really good condition.

Yeh, About 4000sft - roughly.

Few inner engine bay shots and discovered the start of corrosion under the battery area.

 

Hopefully caught it on time and its only surface paint.

 

 

Like my old zed i'm planning to remove all the old AC parts as I doubt i'll ever use them,

so eventually out comes all the pipes, compressor and AC radiator & fan.
