A positive thread!

I've been a member on here for over a decade now (apart from a 12 month sabbatical). As time has gone on, especially over the past few years with the new committee, that the club has really blossomed, despite reducing in size. I think the membership base has become quite a close-knit community.

I love it on here, I've made some life-long friends from the people I've known here over the years and been on some awesome adventures with some. I feel fortunate to have such an awesome hobby! I think the forum is run well, the club is fun and the cars themselves generate quite a lot of interest outside the community, more so than a lot of other makes and marques.

The car has also matured and more people seem keen on restoration projects than grafting half a boat onto it which has reinforced my own enthusiasm for the car that is now an appreciating classic.

Long live the Z and the club! :)

Up yer arse ya northern monkey! :p

My experiance (however short it has been) has been a good community, good chats and helpful advice.

Admitadly i've brought on some hate and pissed some people off, i hope I have become better and not simply an inconvineince on the forum :(

Looking forwards the rest of the year, the forum has made the ownership so much more enjoyable and gives me somthing to do in my breaks . Car would probably be broken by now otherwise.

Thanks

Ali you bring the average age group of the zed owner down a bit so not all bad :thumbup:

As a whole yes, but it's nice to chat to some younger folk once in a while who can see my side of things. Everyone at school thinks I'm that nerd who bought a car he can't drive lol. While true, that's not why I bought it.

Believe me we have some of the biggest kids in the club including me sometimes and im 48 lol, i guess its all about timing, which unless you are a comedian comes with a bit more experience

well put, I have only been around a few years but this has become one of my favourite corners of the internet (next to ebay and one or two I don't care to mention on a public forum)

Thanks to everyone for the advice and the high spirits, I agree that it brings another level to owning the car and being able to appreciate it.

I've been on here a few years myself now, jefftt introduced me to the forum, and I'm glad he did because I have a great knowledgeable ride along the way,and met a great load of lads aswell both young and old who will go out of there way for you:) and I hope I have more injoyable years of zedding and general cars to come, great forum and great people:)

I've now been on for a year now and I'm so glad I've joined. Met some great people and had some great times with them. Also its been really helpful as I've learned alot from all of the people on here which has helped me get my car to where it is today. It seems that no matter when you post, there's always someone ready to help point you in the right direction, thanks all!

Like Wchestnutt said... Prob one of my favourite internet sites:)

You expecting to get caught for something Si, buttering them up before your trial.

Nope, not been a naughty boy at all actually. :)

Always good to have one in the bag though!!!

Like any club the unsung hero's (committee team) they

put in alot of their own time & effort in for the benefit of the members.

I myself have received sound advice & nice comments.

I agree also with Si & young Alic!

Keep on Zedding :)

I really like this club too, I have been trying to get back to checking it habitually/compulsively haha. I had about 5 months off zedding over winter but I'm getting back at it. This club is great inspiration, there is always a build to aspire towards, owners to help you out and answers given repeatedly to your daft questions.

At some point I'll start contributing more again but first I need to get my zed going.

Keep it up guys, and I second the praise for the mod team :thumbup1:

3 yrs now and glad I joined. Seen a few spats here, but nothing like the childlike pissing contests seen on some of the facebook pages.

Nope 5 mins previous he knew he,d fkd up on another thread and clawed his way back:rofl::rofl: I Maybe a Northern monkey but a smart one at that hey Si:wink:

I love how the minute Si says something positive, everyone is suspicious and wondering what he has done wrong to cover up[emoji38]
