Hi all, as some of u know my car has been in storage for quite a while and I'm putting her back on the road for the summer. While it has been stood the black strip under the rear spoiler (I've seen them in the past say Nissan fairlady on them) has started to peel away. What would you recommend to either stick it back down so it stays put without creases/bubbles or where to go to get a new plain strip that I presume are self adhesive.

A link would be very useful if possible

Thanks in advance

For your information there is a persex strip with brake light built in, Nissan have them in stock in Amsterdam sometimes and other times will be Japan which can be 2 weeks or 6 weeks.

Yes they are expensive especially given the non brake light one is sooo much cheaper and has all of the moulding in there, pity the area where the light shows through is too dark to convert it.

Worth a try alic! Sorry u messed it up. But it was free (well a fiver!)

Best just to get new one?

Mike got me one think it was about £100?

Just get a non brake light one from Nissan alic. If you really want a third brake light you can deal with a few different ways later.

Anybody know where I can order Nissan parts online and have them posted out?

He works in nissan parts department yes but he doesn't work with supplying our sort of parts. (but he can get you parts numbers etc.)

You can use Z1motorsports.com, Zcentre.co.uk and conceptzperformance.com but they are all US based so postage can get costly.

For small items try PMing MJP (Mike) and see if he can sort you out.

I didn't realise Nottingham was in the US!

But their parts are still supplied from the US are they not? the postage is still pretty big.

I want you to get your car out of storage and start enjoying it again [emoji106] PM me your address and I'll post it to you.

It's still in its Nissan box from when I bought it from Mike a while back. It's plain black as the "Nissan Fairlady Z" and "Twin Turbo" decals are additional/separate part numbers that stick to that decal.

Edit: I see you're currently a registered user so I guess it'll cost you the £10 to resubscribe in order to send me the PM [emoji6]

Thanks pal, will sort the resub tomorrow on my work laptop, don't think you can do much on this tapatalk app.

The car is defo coming out this summer, insurance paid, MOT happening this Monday morning, tax will follow that. Already been tinkering since I got it back to my house. Managed to rewire my amp and sub tonight and put back in the custom boxes I made for the boot.
