So it would be in the way of the gearstick?

How is a cup holder any different to a boot, or an ashtray, or a side door pocket, or a glove box, or centre console storage?

If a sports car doesn't have to to somewhat practical, it wouldn't bother with most of those either. It's not a track car, it should be designed for everyday practicality

I️ agree with you my friend. A nice simple cup holder could’ve been incorporated from the factory.

......FWIW, the Z32 came out in 89 and cup holders weren't really a 'thing' back then. Nissan however did offer an optional DIN cup holder.

If you REALLY want one, then you can buy this:

Personally, I couldn't give a shit about bloody cup holders. I got bored of all the car manufacturers trying to 'out cup holder each other' in the late 90s/early 2000s each time they launched a new model.

My Toyota Tundra has 12 yes, twelve cup holders! Now that’s overkill..

They're cheaper new: https://conceptzperformance.com/search.php?search=300zx+bose

Although it looks like only one side may be available in tan.

And short, thus lighter and nimbler than any snail powered Z32.

Besides, what sports car ever had power? Sprites had just 40hp!

The Z surely has to lie somewhere between sports car and supercar.. super-coupe perhaps? It's low-slung, only has enough rear seat space to fit 2 sexy busty midgets, is incredibly unreliable, noisy, rattly, uncomfortable, impossible to work on, expensive to fix, goes ridiculously fast (when it works), tries to kill you on anything but 100% dry smooth tarmac - even then it's a gamble

What can I say? The budget cut, poverty spec Z32! [emoji13]

As opposed to blind in the dark and rolling like a stone?

Correct me if I'm wrong (I probably am) but aren't the USDM ones also equipped for twin bulbs?

Either way, I've a hankering for some smoked ones which I've never seen but am assured were a factory fit for some markets. But then, I like the moustache and an N/A bumper instead of the turbo one I shouldn't have but do.

Yes they are, the USDM ones are different also in appearance.

The smoked ones you're thinking of are Euro spec corner blanks. They can be drilled to accept a bulb holder.

On mine I used a set of long nosed pliers to dislodge the amber piece and break it up to remove it then just use an amber bulb mate.
